Right, In Karnataka Only All Telecom Organizations Provide Reasonable Tariffs. Whereas in Other Circles They are Looting The Money

  • ap October 7, 2011 10:24 am

according to me all service providers are very cheap in karnataka compared to other circles

Vodafone has also reduced usage from 2 to 1GB in Haryana in Rs.98 and 2GB plan now costs Rs.120. It’s cheaper than Airtel’s Rs.147 but still Idea providing unlimited @98(speed reduces after 2GB) and Docomo 4GB @ 95.
Airtel has actually messed up with their 2G plans here. Rs.60 gives 1GB for 15 days i.e 2GB @ Rs.120 if someone recharge twice every month. Similarly Rs.22 plan offers 350MB for 7 days(It actually works for 8 days) i.e 1.4GB at Rs.88(22X4) then why would people go for 1GB at Rs.98 when they will get 1.4GB at Rs.88 or 1.75GB @110.

    tremendous calculations

    good calculation
i also use to do same type of calculation

u have not calculated for mtnl

  • abhijith October 7, 2011 7:47 am

LOL = 95 for 1GB???? bsnl provides 89=3GB with 256kbps in 3g with 2g pack am enjoying IT:)

vodafone’s gprs speed is good but it don’t give attractive offer like airtel.
I did not know how to check GPRS balance in vodafone because ”surf vmc” to 144 is useless, it gives nothing.
Why did vodafone not provide USSD based GPRS balance check option.?

“Why did vodafone not provide USSD based GPRS balance check option.?”
IT’S SIMPLE – VODAFONE DOES NOT WANT ITS CUSTOMERS TO KNOW HOW MUCH THEY ARE USING OR HAVE USED THEIR DATA, SO THAT THEY EXCEED USAGE AND OVER USE. AFTER EXCEEDING USAGE, VODAFONE EARNS RS.20,000 FOR 2GB @ 10P/10KB (BEYOND LIMIT) COMPARED TO RS.99 FOR 2GB WITH THEIR REGULAR PACK.

Vodafone allows you to check your usage.
    SMS USE to 144
Also, Vodafone reduced the plan to 1 GB but included Vodafone Mobile Connect with Vodafone Live which is a great move.

Most of the time the SMS does not work or there is no reply! When one can see balance of voice, sms, packs etc through USSD, then why not for GPRS? This clearly proves Vodafone’s agenda! Vodafone is nothing but a cheater! Rcom is petty thief, whereas Vodafone is high class thief!

But In Maharashtra Circle Vodafone Gives detail of GPRS Pack Balance through USSD and code to see is *141*9#.. SO you all also try it..

Even Same in South Karnataka. Always No Signals in My Mobile. I’m Lucky As I’m Using Aircel As They are Having Good Coverage When Compared To Docomo

  • ap October 6, 2011 3:06 pm

    @Arjun Chandrashekar
tata docomo does not good network in north karnataka.earlier all my friends n me had atleast 1 docomo sim due to onnet tarif n sms.but now all r having uninor coz of onnet cheap packs n free sms without charge

  • Arjun Chandrashekar October 6, 2011 8:30 am

In Karnataka Except Uninor All Others are Good In Coverage.

agree wid u.. Bsnl should stop speed capping

  • bibin October 5, 2011 7:01 pm

vodafone gives good speed in kerala(around 30 kBps).
airtel is very slow here(hardly gives 10kBps).
bsnl speed is capped at 128kbps(16 KBps).
i dont know why bsnl is still capping 2G speedto 128 kbps.

  • Ahamed October 5, 2011 6:42 pm

Comparing to Kerala BSNL rate of Vodafone is too high. BSNL gives 100 MB for Rs.7 with 1 day validity, and 3 GB for Rs. 89 with 1 month validity

  • Prateek October 5, 2011 5:28 pm

    send

    act mydata

Vodafone Balance deduction has stopped now as i have been their customer for the past 2 years and faced no problem in coverage /voice breakage. but the problem is they do not provide USSD based GPRS balance chek option and also their GPRS plans are not attractive at all.always costly especially in GPRS plans . with regard to voice plans their plans are ok as far as AP is concerned.

  • Rajesh October 5, 2011 3:44 pm

    As usual….WASTE….

  • Sukhen October 5, 2011 3:19 pm

BSNL IS BEST WITH 3GB IN RS.98

  • Arjun Chandrashekar October 5, 2011 3:03 pm

Vodafone Has The Best Coverage in Karnataka Amongst The Cellular Operators Operating Under 1800 MHz. The Minus Point Of Vodafone is Balance Deduction and Voice Breakage. Otherwise Excellent in Connectivity and Internet. BSNL,AIRTEL, IDEA are The Cellular Operators Having Widest Coverage in Karnataka Operating Under 900MHz. Aircel, Docomo and Reliance are Ok. Uninor Is Worst in Coverage

  • Mayur October 5, 2011 12:43 pm

what is the speed of vodafone in kerala…in maharashtra speed is good and airtel speed has gone really worst…

  • Saurabh October 5, 2011 12:08 pm

Read a news article in TOI,

Reliance Communication’s president for wireless business Syed Safawi said,

“We will soon launch data cards that can work on both GSM and CDMA airwaves. We are working with chipmaker Qualcomm, and by March 2012, a single SIM will work on both GSM and CDMA networks. We have 3G (on GSM) in 300 towns and offer high-speed data on EVDO (CDMA) in 1,000 towns.”

So it means we will soon have a single data card that will support 2G/3G/1X/EVDO. Good move by Reliance Comm.

Now every operator has started reducing 2G Data in order to attract customers to 3G which is not possible unless and until it is economical. Why to worry when we still have pure 2G operators like uninor and videocon!!

  • Mane October 5, 2011 11:05 am

    Bad move
    Same in rajasthan
Rajasthan gprs plan of all gsm operators are
    Airtel-98-1gb
    Voda-96-1gb
    Bsnl-98-3gb
    Reliance-99-6gb
    Docomo-95-4b
    Docomo-48-2gb
    Idea-95-3gb
    Aircel-98-unlmtd airtel and vodafone worst
