I-T department has imposed a tax of about Rs 8,000 crore and another Rs 3,500 crore as penalty on Vodafone for the Hutch deal, i.e a total of Rs 11,500 crores. The Mumbai High Court has green signaled IT depts decision today. If Vodafone pays the tax which I think they must tab to samajlo Vodafone offers dena hi band kar dega :)

see guys i think vodafone has a different business strategy. its in no hurry to grab customers coz it is mainly focusing on quality services n network. and at the end of the day everybody wants a good trouble free network. and yes these new players may be showering so many offers but remem they also mean profit only…ye to market me ghusne ka ek tarika hai,,,,remem reliance cdma offering new handsets at just rs. 500 now no such offers….reliance gsm gives cheap tariffs with bad services so whats the use. all the new comers are offering such low tariffs to compensate for their poor coverage n connectivity issues. they might offer cheap tariffs but then their expansion n quality will definately suffer and so will their customers also suffer. i have my doubts regarding how many people use sims of these new comers as their permanent or primary no.
