No coverage of GSM & UMTS in South Goa’s Mapa Panchwadi Sanverdem Ponda road, much better to use BSNL cellone who offer better coverage than any other operator of Goa.

    Thanks for appreciating..
I was using Vodafone’s EDGE network in Mumbai circle which is simply superb and gives downloads upto 220Kbps i.e. Average 28-30KB/s speed..
If u could visit To MTNL Mumbai Site u can get an Idea about their Tariff Plans..
Previously I have Forwarded The same to Ur Nodal Officer’s Desk and they just Told That they will Look into this.. But it has been 6 Months now..
We are not asking anything for free but it should be value for Money..

It would be better if ur company could launch some good tariff in 3g segment.
The prices should be competitive with bsnl 3g where one get 1gb for 400.

    Steve :
Vodafone has Launched 3G sevices in Goa long back around three months past…..courage of vodafone in Goa is Excellent. i must say no1.but the problem is vodafone not alowing 2G packs on the 3G network. where as Docomo Airtel Bsnl alows their 2g packs on 3G network but the speed is caped to 128kbps

If the speed is caped at 128kbps=16kBps then it is better to use default gprs plan as u may get speed above this also on edge network
It may go more than double also

it may go? But The problem wit 2g speed is its not stable there is more fluctuation.but in 3g the speed is same any point of the day. I mostly use internet for voip and in 2g it wont work but after 1 in the nite it works coz users are less but in 3g it works any point of the day.even websites open much faster in 3g mode on 2g plans

Pan India Soon? Do you know, Vodafone has 3G license for 9 circles only and in the circle where they are not holding 3G license, have tie-up with Idea and Airtel. In Orrisa none of these three have license and no chance they will tie-up with any of those fours having it. Idea is launching services much faster but Airtel is too slow. In those 12 circles where Vodafone is without license, is depending on Idea and Airtel. So until these two covers their respective circles, there will be no Vodafone 3G on pan-India basis in near time. In Punjab, only Idea has license out of these three. But there is a legal battle going on between DoT and Idea over overlapping of licenses (Idea+Spice Telecom). Idea can’t launch 3G in Punjab until they get clearance from DoT. So Airtel and Vodafone have to wait until Idea gets clearance there and as per my knowledge, Idea may face license cancellation in Punjab and 3G license will be transferred to Airtel or Vodafone.
