Vodafone Market leader of Mumbai has NETWORK PROBLEM FROM last 2days,
Lots of problem while out going and also in Incomings. Also phone will not register instantly in the network, all the time network goes offline.
Airtel ke baad ab Vodafone ki halat kharab….

Currently major problem of vodafone in Mumbai & Rest of Maharashtra circle is USSD codes are not working properly. 8/10 times it show ‘time out’ error message on display. Airtel has problems in Mumbai from very early days but it works fine in Rest of Maharashtra. From last 2-3 months I haven’t faced network congestion problem single a time.

How can u say airtel is having problem in mumbai. do u stay at mumbai? wht is your source of information? no problem with airtel at all till now and u are claiming that from early days they are having problem

  • altaf October 11, 2009 12:13 am

Its not just USSD codes problem from last 2 days Vodafone network suks in Mumbai and im not talking about Maharashtra-Goa,
In Mumbai Airtel still not improved its network hence that was best in mumbai just 10-12 months ago but now now.Airtel giving free sim card with life time validity in Mumbai but very less pepole take that just due to the network.

operators care damn about customers. They give free-bees to new customers but existing loyal customers are left-out. What kind of marketing it is?

With Number Portability Post Paid customers will take their ‘badla’, beware telecom operators, customers will kick you on your face…….

  • ishan October 10, 2009 3:39 pm

so now it’s VODAFONE..all the operators has introduced 1p/sce plan.(not in all the circles, just in few circles)..i think in few days AIRTEL may also come up with this tariff plans in 1 or 2 circles.

BSNL KOLKATA circle launched pay per second plan for Exel new Anant connection.Customer have to recharge with 46 as promotional voucher with validity of 30 days and no conditional recharge of 200 in 6 month.

it is valid for both saral anant and new anant..it’s just a new STV.so the conditional recharge of 200 in 6month remains the same.

  • santanu October 10, 2009 2:41 pm

    @sumonta
no there was no condition just recharge with 41 and call any local no.s at 50p/min for 1 year

    Sanjay Gaur :
Everyone is focusing on their pre-paid customers, giving offers after offers. Why is the poor post-paid customers being left out.
Only Reliance has offered a good price for post paid customers. Long Live Reliance.

That is the funny thing… Postpaid users give more ARPU than Prepaid users… Operators are using those revenue to get more PREPAID users… It is like Rob Peter and pay Paul type system…

May be because operators value NUMBER of SUBSCRIBERS more than ARPU now…

    sumonta :

santanu :AIRTEL LAUNCH STV41 FOR KOLKATA CUSTOMERS. IF U RECHARGE WITH STV 41 YOU CAN CALL ALL LOCAL NO.S AT 50P/MIN FOR 1 YEAR.

r u sure? one of airtel user said me, with stv 41 , the first 2 min of a day will be charged 1 rs/min.thereafter all local will be 50p/min for the day.

see airtel website. its true with RC 41 all local calls @ 50 paise for 365 days

  • Suchisuvra Sen October 10, 2009 12:44 pm

But Aircel and Tata Docomo have same offer without any STV.Even BSNL STD call charges 2 paisa/sec is quite costly than other operators.

Airtel must wake up and join the war. Indian consumers value ‘price’ and not service.

I too agree with this… vodafone has offered it in MP circle only because its a new operator there

  • dataoneinfo October 10, 2009 11:36 am

But 1ps/sec billing will cause huge drop in operators revenue. Soon we can know who will survive this race.
