Today, I have a very bad experience with Vodafone. Out of nowhere I got a message that I had requested buziness and economy alerts and soon Rs 30 was deducted from my main account. Immediately I deactivated the service by sending an sms to 144. The service deactivated but my Rs 30 was not refunded. When I called 198, they rather rudely told me that I would not get my money as the service was activated on my request. Only god knows who requested that service! All this happened in a matter of five minutes! If this is not the stealing, what is?

I ported my BSNL Mobile to Vodafone. Its better than BSNL in my area. But, their network used to be unavailable for 30 min to 1hr each and every day! They are sharing BTS with Aircel.

Whenever I tweet, they call me and listen to me. But whats the use of these when network is not available? Thanks God that its not my Primary Mobile Number!

Could not have agreed more. In my personal opinion, vodafone might have run out of ideas so as to charge the customers and hence this new idea. Wondering whether the USSD No. has something to do with Airtel i.e., in all probability this USSD no might also be in use on Airtel network because vodafone is also using some of the Airtel USSD no in use and charges are very high. For eg, vodafone will deduct Rs.15/- for activating business pack upon dialing *123*10# ( the same is in use for airtel to check GPRS balance) and if one dial *567# then caller tune service will be activated ( activate/deactivate GPRS on airtel). Needless to say that vodafone might have intentionally put these numbers in service. This happened with me twice when I accidently dialled these numbers while using dual SIM phone.

Nowadays every mobile has FM radio ! Moreover people don’t have time to listen those in their busy life ! Then what’s the need of world space radio with a subsciption ? First they need to improve their service of customer grievance redressal ! I had a problem with vodafone and i called 198 ….. It was totally changed from easy way to hard now ! Each and every details will be asked thro automated voice and also with the input of customer mobile number for complaint and asks the type of complaint and so on ! Finally line droped bcoz of cc officer busy ! Again the long process starts ! This is too hard process for literates then think about illiterates ! First change this service to easy process ! Otherwise customers will move on to other networks………. !

instead one can use online radio options many to name…coz ppl may have subscribed to monthly gprs packs already….why again shell down 30/month for only 300 mins! Some may not agree with my view…..(purely my personal view…..)
