    @Jitendra
The same issue happened with me when i was working with my previous co. at Kanjur Marg (suburb of Mumbai) and only Vodafone network was not available into the premises of my company however the same was working perfect outside the premises. I escalated that issue very strongly to their network team. Also escalated the matter to their Nodal officer and finally they had setup a brand new Tower near my office premises.

Please try to escalate this issue very strongly. I am sure they will surely help you out.

Instead of spending crores on media advt the service providers should pass the profits to its own subscribers and retailers by implementing cheaper tariffs and/or by offering freebies/VAS. Of course should strictly follow the guidelines of TRAI (confirmatory SMS from subscribers instead of a KEPRESS) while activating VAS.

In terms of quality Vodafone is best, but false deduction from prepaid account is the favourite foul play of Vodafone India and it become worse from all other.

  • tejas February 21, 2012 5:32 pm

it means that ur tariff for 1p per second validity has exhausted. mostly these packs are auto renewed at the end of the validity. but in ur case i guess u need to recharge with the pack which gives 1 ps per sec tariff. n remember these packs come with 1 year validity only. so again after 1 yr you need to get the pack renewed. right now u have been shifted to the base plan where u r charged 1 re. per mnt. now u can either choose a per second plan or a per minute based plan as per ur choice.

In my vodafone, the call charge was 1p/sec. But suddenly it chaged to Re.1 minimum. When I contacted them, I was told that thre is no such plan and they are thnking of 1p/sec plan and once it is implemented,I will get an SMS. Connectivity is gfood in my area for all operators except BSNL. If I have to cough Re.1 minimum, then I will have to port out from Vodafone. I am sure that some others also will follow suit. If Some one from Vodafone is reading this then please reply.

    True

  • Jitendra February 21, 2012 10:48 am

Vodafone need to reduce their call charges first to attract subscribers 1.2p/sec need to stop first & offer 1/2p/sec to any network for port in subscribers. I heard that they already stopped port in charges from subscribers which was Rs 19 or 17.

Vodafone network sucks, yet & until they are not able to resolve mine indoor network issue even after 6 months of period. Very horrible network coverage @ my residential area. FYI at same place all other operators are provides enhanced network coverage except vodafone, completely nil. Poor performance from vodafone Mumbai team.

  • Raj February 21, 2012 10:38 am

uninor number se jab call karte hai turant lag jata hai, vodafone number se jab call karte hai to 15-20 sec lag jate hai. vodafone ka network congested hai.aur voice quality bekar hai uninor voice voice quality superior compared to airtel, idea, vodafone.

  • tabraiz February 20, 2012 10:14 pm

I never liked vodafone for their high cost and customer satisfaction. I never get full indoor coverage. Airtel and docomo are good.

  • Karthik February 20, 2012 8:13 pm

vodafone is best with coverage and gprs speed!
They provide me gprs for 10 rupees for a month with 1gb data at *121# best deals :)

No. 1 in kolkata and West bengal.(not in tariff)

its true but not usable due to high cost and illegal balance deduction and cc will not help you to get refund!Ported out of vf as soon as mnp was implemented!

  • sAM February 20, 2012 7:20 pm

80% of their revenue comes from illegal VAS activations..

  • tejas February 20, 2012 6:54 pm

Uninor has become popular very fast for two reasons…good network and good tariffs. Their strategies have really given them the desired results. They have brought in these special packs where u get cheap local mnts to other networks as well as lot of free mnts to own network. Theres nothing like these packs ever available with Vodafone. Uninor and other operators keep putting up new offers every month which creates an excitement among users to try them. With Vodafone theres nothing exciting its pack remain the same for years n so it has become a good quality plain vanilla icecream for most of the people.

  • tejas February 20, 2012 6:41 pm

Vodafone is good no doubts abt that.. but then it needs to address the issue of high tariffs, it is simply losing revenue to small operators who offer better tariffs. People use sims from other operators to make out going calls coz of cheap rates. I dont understand this, why do they let their revenue to get diverted into the pockets of other operators. For eg if I make a call from one operator the cost ranges from 20 ps to 30 ps per mnt but with Vodafone sim it will cost me 60 ps per mnt. The gap is huge and nobody would like to pay more for something thats available at 50% lesser prices.

  • Mayur February 20, 2012 6:07 pm

After Supreme court result on 2g scam, Vodafone has increase mnp campaign right from second day of the result…

  • Jagannath February 20, 2012 5:59 pm

Vodafone provides the best coverage in delhi-ncr region :)

  • atanu February 20, 2012 4:53 pm

  • ravin February 20, 2012 4:45 pm

I had a high opinion of Vodafone. Last week I ported from Docomo to Vodafone for GPRS. But to my dismay, Signal is only one or two bars indoor as against full signal of Docomo. My cell battery is also draining fast due to this weak signal. My flat is just 100 yards from main road in Tarnaka, Hyderabad. Vodafone, please live up to people’s expectations.

  • mansoor Ahmed February 20, 2012 4:42 pm

    GPRS is worth in bangalore

  • Vaibhav February 20, 2012 4:13 pm

It is the Very Very Best Operator in Mumbai Region. Network is the best part of it.

  • NJ February 20, 2012 4:06 pm

Vodafone use to be good in Pune. But from past couple of months, it seems to be falling apart.
Droped calls, slow gprs and pathetic Customer service.

  • Harneev Sethi February 20, 2012 3:11 pm

heard a lot about this network. Now its time to test the same, my number under MNP process :)
