karan December 2, 2011 at 9:07 pm
vodafone would have easily had negative MNP port outs if not for its big fraud of rejecting port outs under the mask of ‘contractual obligation’. even TRAI has found it guilty and been warned even by indian govt. here’s the proof – telecomtalk.info/trai-directs-vodafone-not-to-reject-mnp-requests-on-contractual-grounds/81150/
vodafone is nothing but a big high class fraud like kingfisher or satyam and even worse. its the nemesis of indian telecom industry and indian people. vodafone is a high class fraud and rcom is a chindi/petty fraud.
Husain October 29, 2011 at 8:34 am
Hey! Vodafone is fooling customers…
They haven’t revamped their GPRS plans in Gujarat, Vodafone offers 2GB @ Rs.147 and 1GB @ Rs.96.Yesterday only I confirmed this from Vodafone CC and Retailer, Retailer also said that Vodafone haven’t revamped their GPRS plan, otherwise they(Vodafone) have informed them first, but they don’t have any such information.
My friend also recharged with Rs.147 and got 2GB, but here something else is shown.
so either here information is wrong or Vodafone is giving wrong information. There are two possibilities: Either Vodafone is not offering 2GB @ Rs.147 or they are offering 2GB @ Rs.111 and Rs.147 simultaneously!

In which city or Circle?
@sukhen
Vikas Patidar October 16, 2011 at 11:22 pm
@Saurabh
In USSD option it shows 100 MB data for me But when I activate using message then it work for 24 hour unlimited. I’m using Airtel for last 4 years may be it for exclusive customers.
Vikas Patidar October 16, 2011 at 11:12 pm
You need to send MOA to 52567
Not sure if it is available for others too, except MP
Saurabh October 16, 2011 at 10:48 pm
@Vikas Patidar
The Rs.10 plan is also available in Haryana and gives 100MB usage for one day not unlimited. The pack can be activated by sending SMS MO10 to 52505 or by dialling *567# and then choosing from USSD option.
naresh nakade October 16, 2011 at 10:07 pm
@Vikas Patidar
but how to activate?
Vikas Patidar October 16, 2011 at 8:44 pm
Airtel still gives unlimited data for 10 RS/Day for me. Only you need to activate plan via sending message.
sajid October 15, 2011 at 10:15 pm
vodafone is useless and a totally pathetic company. first vodafone should give proper gprs speeds in mumbai and other circles and then think of launching gprs packs. many of my friends and family use vodafone gprs in mumbai & maharashtra and none of them get speeds of more than 50-60kbps on average.
i think they are not increasing their bandwidth and infrastructure with increasing gprs customers and usage. this is the typical vodafone mentality. they squeeze in many customers with limited infrastructure without increasing/improving infrastructure and bandwidth capacity but instead spend loads of money on pseudo advertising. they are not in the business of telecom but making only ads. shame on vodafone!
SAJU October 15, 2011 at 7:27 pm
Dead friends any idea about BSNL EVDO data card & how is the performance , its able to make video calls like yahoo messenger & Skype ?
Sanjay Bafna October 15, 2011 at 6:19 pm
All the information mention in above post is same as Vodafone’s official info on their website.
Tippu October 15, 2011 at 6:13 pm
Dear Sanjay Bafna where you got this offer. Actually i tried to recharge this 111 recharge, its failed and got confirmation from CC that the recharge was with drawn.
sukhen October 15, 2011 at 3:34 pm
BSNL is best with 3GB at Rs. 98 with speed 200kbps speed.
RAJ October 15, 2011 at 10:29 am
The Telcom Players are worried that if the GPRS is cheap and works fine users will not go to buy 3G. Then they should rather make the 3G plans cheaper than making the GPRS expensive to create a client Shift ? Funny, but never expected from Vodafone. I am confined to think that TATA’s are still most reliable company in India..
Saurabh October 15, 2011 at 8:06 am
@Rohan Singh
I think this will work on only if the retailer has old stock left. Buy a paper coupon with unlimited written on it. Here in my area, new Rs.54/98 coupon also have 1GB/Unlimited written on it. They have not withdrawn Rs.26 (500MB for 7 days pack) in Haryana. So even if they stop this on paper coupon also I will use 26 pack 4 time. Rs.26X4=500X4 (2GB in Rs.104).
Rohan Singh October 14, 2011 at 10:00 pm
Idea use to offer unlimited @5,16&98 but has withdrawn. I have used paper voucher also but they still gave me limited amount not unlimited. So this is not working here atleast.
ved October 14, 2011 at 9:16 pm
Bekaar offer as compared to reliance as here both rel and voda have same speed…….
varun October 14, 2011 at 8:49 pm
@sunil kushwaha
Thanks saurabh
Sahil Shah October 14, 2011 at 8:46 pm
You cant compare reliance and vodafone’s network. Yes but vodafone is costly. The above Rs 111 plan has been discontinued and new Rs 96 plan has been introduced which gives 1GB and Rs 147 for 2GB. I dont have any choice other than to use Vodafone as my company forced me to convert my no to Vodafone and then under their CUG plan.
sunil kushwaha October 14, 2011 at 8:30 pm

I have to share some piece of news with all of you. It is true that companies have reduced the data usage in all their GPRS packs. But reality is the revised packs are applicable to only those who use e-rechrage/online recharge to activate internet packs. If you activate using paper coupon you will still get the same usage. I recharged my Idea number today with Rs.98 paper coupon and got unlimited usage. I called up CC whether the plans has been revised or still the same? He said, “Sir, the new plans are applicable when you e-recharge or online recharge facility” If you use paper coupon of respective pack you will get same usage you use to get before. I was appy to hear that. Just few moments back I called up Airtel CC also and he said the same that if you e-recharge with Rs.98 you will get 1GB for30 days but with paper coupon you will get 4GB(2GB Day/2GB Night). Isn’t this great? So use paper coupon now. Will call Vodafone care in few minutes.

Vodafone provides true unlimited for 450rs in Andhra pradesh, val 30 days….why 599rs @ gujrat ?
Amit.G October 14, 2011 at 6:25 pm
vodafone is trying to match 3G tariff with 2G tariff but in a reversed way!!
Arun October 14, 2011 at 5:32 pm

VODAFONE UNLIMITED GPRS 98/- p.m. PLAN NOW INCREASED TO 599/- p.m [ARE U HAPPY?]
Now Vodafone has Started to cheat its Clients.
Right now they have Unlimited GPRS plan for only Rs.98/- per month and now they are increasing it to 599/- Never thought Vodafone will start cheating its clients on GPRS kind of slow speed plans, while the India is rocking about 3G.
Because the Consumer is unaware the Companies can cheat them in any way.
Check the image of Vodafone leaflet for Unlimited GPRS for 98/- per month.

Reliance offers 1.5GB @ Rs.52 and 6GB @ Rs.99 while Vodafone offers only 2GB @ Rs.111. In Gujarat, Reliance and Vodafone’s speed is almost same…
Vodafone, back with its looting offer!
Husain October 14, 2011 at 5:02 pm
Ah! Bakwas offer compared to Reliance. They are giving 20GB @ Rs.248 for 90days[PAN India offer], and offers 6GB @ Rs.99 for 30days.
Rohan Singh October 14, 2011 at 5:00 pm
I can get broadband @499Rs unlimited then why the hell should i go for Rs 1600 I.e 533Rs a month. If this was 3G plan then it could have attracted us. Aircel is good with 98Rs unlimited.
amar October 14, 2011 at 4:56 pm
waste offer
There is no way to know the GPRS usage for limited plan
Better move to airtel or any other ,even uninor shows GPRS usage but not Vodafone.
What are you(vodafone) doing from so many years if you don’t give basic things.
Rajesh October 14, 2011 at 4:51 pm
These pricing are suitable for 3G network..What a pity plans…
GUJARAT October 14, 2011 at 4:46 pm
As i am retailer at GUJARAT, as per my knowledge Rs.111 pack is discontinue & other two new packs implemented Rs.96-1GB-30days, & Rs.147-2GB-30days.
vinod October 14, 2011 at 4:30 pm
vodafone gprs speed in mumbai & maharashtra is pathetic and does not cross 40-50kbps even during late nights. idiotic & useless vodafone! only docomo giving good gprs speeds in mumbai at 200-2500kbps. idea is a big fraud as its mumbai customers cannot use their gprs pack outside mumbai and its charges @ 10p/10kb or rs.10,000/GB. idea c***r aur fraud hai and vodafone is its brother.
varun October 14, 2011 at 4:28 pm
