Vodafone Appoints Wipro to Build and Manage Fixed line Wireless Services

Vodafone, one of India’s leading Mobile Service providers, today announced that it has signed a contract with Wipro as a part of this strategic engagement for its wireless fixed line telecom services for enterprise business customers.

Wipro will provide a wide range of services including network design & build, integration with existing IT OSS/ BSS applications and managed services of the setup over three years. In addition, Wipro will also build an Enterprise Network Operation Center (NOC) to manage the operations of Vodafone Essar’s enterprise customers.

Naveen Chopra, Director – Enterprise and Carrier Business, Vodafone Essar said “We expect our partnership with Wipro to provide more value to our enterprise customers through increased operational efficiency and cost optimization. Through this partnership, we hope to bring an innovative approach to servicing the Enterprise telecoms market and also enhance our business revenues.”

    mr.Riju u r totally wrong,please don’t post these false comments, airtel has more than 30 lakhs customers in kerala (4th in kerala)..Out of my 572 contacts 322 are airtel. Don’t make the readers fool.

    these GSM player failed to offer prepaid fixed line, airtel is successful but his postpaid plans are too costly as compared to other CDMA and BSNL/MTNL. vodafone/Airtel/Idea need to concentrate on GSM fixed wireless terminal and GSM fixed wireless phone.

    you are wrong. in kerala airtel has only less than 5000 connections

    yes sud you are rite but to get hands on this phone is very dificult coz bsnl never says that they have this phone ether they say that its not avalable or they say no such phone exixts@velu

    @steve you are correct. indeed Bsnl offers FCP at Rs. 2200. it is unlocked.so one can use any sim on it
