Vodafone revises 3G/4G data packs in Kerala, reduces data benefits

Vodafone India, has revised its 3G/4G prepaid data packs by reducing the available benefit in the Kerala circle. Vodafone had launched the 3G/4G service on its network in Kerala last month, and upgraded all 3G packs to offer 4G speeds.

The data benefit available for Rs. 29 data pack has been reduced to 90MB from existing 120MB. Similarly, Rs. 49 data pack has been revised to offer 150MB instead of 200MB earlier. The Rs. 104 data pack benefit has been reduced to 250MB from earlier 300MB and Rs. 149 data pack now offers 375MB of data instead of 500MB.

The latest move from Vodafone is quite unexpected as it is battling with Airtel and Idea in the Kerala circle with its 4G services. The competition in the circle went crazy after the launch of 4G service by all three operators. Both, Idea and Airtel, are already offering double data on all 4G recharges above 1GB. However, Vodafone has not announced any special offer for its 4G service.
