Industry’s friendliest local pack of Rs.45 offers calls to any local number at just 1 paisa for 2 seconds. This pack comes with a validity of 30 days and is available across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa, Mumbai and Maharashtra telecom circles.
The benefits of this pocket friendly pack will be available to Virgin Mobile users on both minute and second billing profiles.
Speaking on the launch of new STV, Mr. Madhusudan Mandyam, CEO, Virgin Mobile India said, “Our research shows that youth have a high propensity to talk more and are always on the lookout for innovative budget solutions to address their mobility needs. This pack is specially designed for Indian youth who are on per second tariff, giving them a leeway to make local calls for longer duration without burning a hole in their pockets.”
As India’s only national youth focused brand, Virgin Mobile aims to extend its objective of helping youth leverage and use the power of their network of friends with this new offering on its GSM network. Consumers on per minute tariff are offered a differentiated tariff proposition of 20p/min for STD and local calls to any Virgin Mobile number. Virgin Mobile customers calling any other network will be charged at 40p/min for local and 50p/min for STD calls.

Before i would like to say that in the year 2000 AirTel was In Such a Pathetic Condition now just like Aircel, Suffering From Gprs Problems. and i’ve studied in newspaper that Aircel is also one of the Company that Bagged 3G SPECTRUM

Even i’m also an Aircel customer of Karnataka i didn’t Find slow browsing speed on my mobile. I will accept that downloading Speed is too low. If Aircel launches it’s 3g Network it would be useful for great results. You can use Opera Mini Browser for Good Results. AIRCEL GIVES VALUE FOR PEOPLE AND MONEY.

Most of operator in india giving same tariff like per sec and per minute tariff. I think we don’t go for new operator untill they setup his complete network. They don’t h’ve full coverage but sell its sim with some schemes which not for long time but they launch its service for making money.

Aircel must upgrade its network.. as many ppl use its gprs/EDGE services its speed has gone down in karnataka. ppl r now shifting to docomo & Airtel(except north krntka ppl). in my friends circle itself 5 ppl switched to docomo. even i stopped using aircel bcos of its poor speed.
