Virgin Mobile CDMA Stops Adding New CustomersFollowing Virgin Group’s exit from Virgin Mobile venture of Tata Tele, the days of the mobile brand was numbered and now it looks like TTL is closing down Virgin brand one by one.

For last 2 years, TTL faces lower customer addition to their CDMA voice services – Tata Docomo CDMA (earlier Tata Indicom).

TTL’s GSM arm Tata Docomo takes the limelight of Tata’s mobile services; it causes TTL to undergo a brand makeover for its CDMA business.

TTL is focusing its CDMA wing to data centric business, as Photon is already well accepted brand for wireless broadband market. TTL is bringing its CDMA business under one wing - Tata Docomo CDMA/Walky/Photon.

In a latest email conversation with Virgin Mobile customer care we came to know TTL stops providing new Virgin Mobile CDMA connection.

Existing customers will keep getting all benefits of Virgin Mobile CDMA as they were. Helpline of Virgin CDMA remains on 125999 (tollfree from Virgin Mobile CDMA).
