Consumer Durable King Videocon is all set to Roll-Out its GSM Services commercially in Mumbai from March, 07,2010 with the most competitive tariff, the sim card is Expected to be FREE with a Talk-Time of Rs5.
The SIM-Kits will be available in all the “Planet-M” & “Next” Retail outlets, as it is a part of Videocon Group. As of now Videocon does not have its own Official Mobile Gallery store in Mumbai and may announce it a bit later after the launch.
Most of the Value Added Services including Caller tunes, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call-Conferencing will be straight away launched from the day 1 of the commercial launch. The Talk-Time recharge denominations will range from Rs10 to Rs10,000. According to the sources, the campaigns of the Videocon Mobile services will highlight the strength of the network.

I am totally disappointed getting the service from you. So many times I try to contact your customer care and I am getting poor service from you.Yor customer care support also not proper. Daily more than six calls I am getting from your customer care. I am not expecting theese types calls from you means auto generated calls. Unfortunately I activate cricket news also. I want to deactivate the same.I expect a positive reply from you. Kindly resolve the same on urgent basis

I approached call V center many times , then approached gallary also. I did not recieved battery. I seen worst service in my life ever. Please don’t use V mobile.They don’t have any responsble person who can help us.

Who cares about videocon? I care only about good network and good tariff. If videocon is having good tariff I am buying videocon if anyone else is having good tariff I am going for that !! In terms of network I think it will be pathetic because everyone here is asking about the network and no one yet found the network of videocon..

ya!altaf as u RIGHTLY said tht i was pretty confident about the launch of VMS on March,07,2010, but since the sim cards haven’t been dispatched to all the retailers, its not fully launched… as soon as all the retailers get the sim cards from the company, they will start publicizing in the media…!!
i asked the top officials thn i got the response tht it will be done by this weekend..!!
if can recollect..RCOM announced the launch on Dhirubhai Ambani’s BDAY, that’s on 28th DECEMBER , but the sim cards had hit the market from 3rd of January in MUMBAI!!
the same thing happened with DOCOMO and Uninor in all the circles too!!
i know you are eager to have the sim card of VIDEOCON but dude You have to wait a bit, probably till FRIDAY!!! BUT DON’T WORRY IT WILL BE SORTED OUT BEFORE MARCH, 12, 2010….

@altaf network was LIVE somedays back in Mumbai but now its OFFLINE as the TESTING is successfully done….n regarding the showroom, all the PLANET M and NEXT retail formats are of VIDEOCON itself…. so currently its making use of them….even TATA DOCOMo has come up with their official gallery after many months of their commercial launch!
The website will be up n running as soon as the commercial launch is done!

LoopMobile was launched in TN and Kerala six months back.. That was just soft launch, which means NO selling of SIMs, NO SHOWROOM, NO DEALER, NO SALE.. Just launching for name sake, so that TRAI can’t cancel its license…
But I don’t think this will be the same case for Videocon, because,
1) They have bought all towers from Aircel (under name Datacom).
2) They are planning to sell their Videocon mobiles with their GSM service.
3) They have already disclosed their SIM cost as FREE with Rs5 TT..
