Videocon Mobile Services, one of the latest entrants in the GSM Mobile segment with a future ready 2.75G EDGE GSM network today announced the launch of a new Special Tariff Voucher-395 under the present bouquet of STVs in Mumbai, Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala telecom circle.
Videocons new “STV-395” comes at Rs.395 wherein customer gets talk time of Rs.50 and 3000 free minutes which can be utilized in Local callings (Mobile/Landline) to any network with in the circle.
Beyond free minutes all Local and STD calls will be charged at 1p/sec. This special tariff voucher has a tariff validity of 30 days. With this Videocon expanding its truly innovative yet truly affordable plans slowly to all of its operating circles, we can only expect other operators follow the suit.

MTNL Delhi has one coupon of 399/- which enable 1399 local calls on any network. This videocon offer is betterment of same.
Really terrific offer and i doubt if any player would like to match this keeping in view IUC charges. Definitely not any established player.

Really terrific offer. But till date there is no gallery of Videocon in Bombay. Where to contact for defective SIM replacement this is a problem.

But I have only one doubt… Whether the 3000 Local minutes are calculated in per minute pulse or per second pulse (means 1,80,000 seconds — 3000 x 60 FREE seconds)
Even if they calculate FREE usage in per minute pulse, the cost works out to be 10.3p/min (after deducting ST 10.3% and Rs50 FREE TT from the Rs395 STV cost)..
This is the cheapest Local tariff in India for now… But IUC Local charges are 20p/min and Videocon is getting about half of it only.. Then how they can make money is beyond me.. Or I am missing something Bafna Ji, Tarun Ji, NP Ji, please explain..

Now IND 836 videocon’s own nw is also live in Mumbai. So after shifting to their own nw frm BPL MOBILE then to wait and watch for nw.

This is a amazing offer. Only 11.5p/min. This pack is suitable for family uses or high end user. Student ko itni calls ki jaroorat nahin hoti. Haan 2 ya 3 student milkar use kar sakte hain.
