Hiiiiiiii im living in dombivli near desle pada, there is no network coverage from uninor, so many people are switching uninor to other network the reason is a network problem. mobiles are always not reachable. request you look into this.

This is True, am enjoying with Uninor past 1 year.
Voice clarity is much better than any other network in chennai.
In Chennai Circle its good even in indoor. But Uninor-RoTN coverage is very poor.
Since its launch there is no tie-up (like ICR pact between Aircel-RoTN and DoCoMo-RoTN) with other available networks.

Ya its good only for uninor but if recharging ur sim withsome amount then its very risky, coz like me my friend circle got uninor as per seeing offer but after using we find its a cheator and fraud can deduct ur amount without any information and when u make out call den come to ur balance is nil and wen enquire dey will say lie that u download game,every time dey give same exuse.wen u just use for only calls.

Thats y ur facing network issues… If ur under a tower then ur phone cannot acess signals from tat tower, it will try to acess from another tower which may be far… Since ur telling tat tower is above ur house then u ll face signal problems.. For best reception the user should be 200-300meters away from tower area..

This is a fake advertisement from Uninor company that it is Unlmited call. It’s not unlimited it is 400 free minutes/month for Rs.197 to all local other network & 2000 min. to uninor to uninor. I used the GSM’s of Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL, TATA Docomo, Aircel, from my experience I can vouch for Uninor. If you are in the area where it has a tower no other company can beat it in terms of non breakage of connectivity, voice clarity, voice reception, economical rate, Speed of GPRS connectivity. No wonder it has won the best operator award recently. By the way why should you compare a new startup with established players?

Even i used Uninor sometime, but its network is not good as claimed by Venky. May be his usage could be confined to certain area, not everywhere Uninor is good. Moreover the price is costly. Only MTS is cheaper in Chennai and Tamilnadu, except roaming tariffs all other tariffs are lower than other competitors. Network is also good. Tata Indicom “Pay per call plan” at one rupee/10 minutes for local or three rupees/10 minutes for STD calls with daily rental of one rupee with ten years validity is better tariff than MTS if we use long calls. As per network is concerned nobody can beat Vodafone and its network, throughout Tamilnadu it is quite stable, but problem with network that it is so congested that getting instant connection at times is very difficult and frustrating and price is costly.

I have used all the networks in chennai, but the best i had is the uninor it is good in every aspect the technlogy they use is really good eventthough the signal is less i used to get very good voice clarity and gprs is also working well compared to aircel and airtel , tata docomo launched a year ago in chennai it was worse when it started problems like voice clarity is poor, frequent call drop etc. But uninor launhced only couple of months ago it has got definelty quality in it comapared to other big names. I think in future it will no 1 player in telecom industry.

Nothing comes for free: Let’s say you pay 198/- each month to Uninor. You get no talktime. for every call that you make add 198 to it.
For example if u make 5 STD calls @ 49p every day, then the actual cost to you is 49px5 + 6.60p(thats 198/30)!

For Rs197/700Mins works out to 28.15p/min, provided you exhausted ALL 700 FREE MINUTES… So if you have used only, say 500Mins, then it will works out to 39p/min.
So only difference is addition of FREE on-net minutes, removal of daily rent/call mole$ting charges, Local calls @ 28p/min… This is a good plan for sure, BUT IT IS VERY VERY MISLEADING TO CALL IT AS UNLIMITED LOCAL CALL PLAN…

Uninor is trying to make us fool. Is 11hr 40min in 30 days (23min/day) should be called unlimited. This is a missuse of the word ‘Fair uses policy’. Atleast onnet should be fully unlimited (Here 66min/day). In Bihar Stel is offering 60 days fully unlimited onnet calls at 99rs. Both came in Bihar same time. Uninor’s plan is good not bad, but don’t say it unlimited. 37/38 plan is very good.
