Uninor the GSM mobile service provider has started its Retailing & Brand building initiative in semi- urban & rural markets of Uttar Pradesh East telecom circle by flagging off 16 “Mobile Service Gallery Cars” A fleet of 16 Scorpio Cars adorned with colorful graphics will be covering the remotest part of UP East.
Uninor is oriented to tap the potential in rural UP as major segment of the telecom market which is driven by users so it gets indispensable to reach out to the touch-points. The rising demand in the Indian mobile phone industry is another reason to experiment with the retail mobile brigade for telecom market in UP east.
With low-cost cellular services, a large number of rural customers are able to afford cell phones and Uninor attempts to capture more market share though innovation.Following the ceremonial flag off at Uninor office, HT House in Lucknow, the mobile brigade flagged off from Uninor Lucknow Hub by Mr. Frode Haugen, EVP, UP East Hub.

Yes, because Uninor is giving SIM for Rs10 with Rs150TT… Most if not all people use it as calling card as early as possible and throw away, since it has Rs2 daily rent….

But in UP West its network is too worst.Many my friends purchase its SIM with 150- 180 Rs. TT.
Even they couldn’t use this TT properly in calling because of its network.
I think other circle will also facing this problem.

IN KARNATAKA uninor is adding more customers than Aircel.. uninor launched nearly 6-8months after aircel but aircel’s customer base is near to uninor. i think in 2 months uninor ll overtake aircel in terms of subscriber fig in karnataka. HARD LUCK AIRCEL
