Uninor Hiked 2G Data Tariff Across Circles

Pricing power has been gained by the mobile service providers for some time, and Uninor, the Sabse Sasta operator also revises their GPRS/2G/EDGE data offerings across all circles. Though Uninor’s 2G data packs are still cheaper than its competitors they slightly hiked their data pricing by decreasing validity period or bundled data. In some circles they introduce new data plans.

@ANIRUDH,first make sure u really want to port to uninor?Their internet service is so poor. Still if u want to use uninor for cheap terrif then why dont u get a new sim instead of MNP to uninor? As per rules :FOR MNP Rs:19 is charge. Have u asked them why they demand 120rs to u ? It might be possible that they offer you full tt, sms, data in extra 100 rs. Check on uninor official website about their main store @ ur place. 2 years back when i ported to tata gsm they had charged me 20rs.And still u cant get solution then speak to their nodal officer regarding this issue. Hope it will help u.

I just don’t want to change my number ,so I want to opt for MNP
And for 120/- they are giving Rs. 60/- talktime
      200 mb data
And daily 100 sms for one month

@Anirudh, so it is: rs20 for mnp + rs 40 for new sim + frc rs 60. N u get 60 tt + 200MB + 3000 sms/30 days. Much better na then . N i think they keep call rate @25 p/min. But u will get only 2g. So go n do mnp with said 120 if u r ok with poor 2g. I ve check their website : It clearly shows rs 40 for new sim. Even here also uninor store charge 90rs for new sim. Hope it will help u.

It is a kind request to all…….

I am from jharkhand i have an unlocked MTS 1X data card. I want to use Tata Docomo CDMA sim in this modem but the problem is when i use username and password “internet” it does not connect and report some error. I used other username and password like “brewuser” and “wapuser”, but after connecting no browsing.

Here i noted that i used my friend’s sim having brand “Tata Indicom” it worked fine with username and password “internet”, but i bought a new sim having brand “Tata Docomo CDMA” on which i faced the above issue.

I contacted Tata Docomo cc through call and chat but they denied to give manual settings saying that all the settings are already available in the sim.

So i request all TT readers that if you have any idea about that please reply.
