Uninor GSM Tariff Plan Versus Pay Per SecondWith all the operators following the suite of wooing their customers with “Pay Per Second” plan, But Uninor the latest entrant in India's GSM mobile service market has not joined the league of pay per second and brings bit different twin tariff plans Talklonger@29p/min and Callmore@29p/min.

Uninor the GSM mobile service of Unitech Wireless, a joint venture between India’s real estate major Unitech and the world's 6th largest mobile services provider Telenor Group, taking a different stands from current mobile tariff war and  brings a bit different tariff plans which claims that Uninor tariff is cheapest from others per second tariff.




Under the Uninor's  Talklonger@29p/min Plan, all local calls at 29p/min and STD calls 49 paisa per min with call set up charges of 39 paisa.The operator offers 100 free Uninor to Uninor SMS per day (first local SMS of the day would be charged at 99paisa. Subsequent Own Net SMS and all other network  SMS be charged at 10 paisa while all National SMS will be charged at Rs.1.49. With this plan Uninor charged 39 paisa as one time call setup fee, that means if customer talks for one minute than call charges will be 68 paisa (39p+29p)  if customer talk 2 minutes on same call than call cost will be 97 paisa (39p+29p+29).

Under its 2nd prepaid plan which is “Callmore@29p/min” in this plan the tariff is same as above plan just call set up fee is not applicable but customers need to pay Rs.2 as daily rental to avail the plan and can enjoy all local calls at flat 29p and STD calls at 49 paisa per minute.

According to the Exclusive Tariff Comparison chart for local calls with  Uninor, The operator claims that customers can save more and more with Uninor in compare to standard 'Pay Per Second plan' by all other operators.
