India has emerged as one of the most sought after destinations for the smartphone makers. Well, thanks to our ever-growing population, the number of smartphone users has also shot up substantially. Taking an example from trendy flash sales of devices like LeEco Le 1s conducted in India, wherein thousand of units are sold within seconds. Our country has become an oasis for the manufacturers to sell their devices successfully.

Now that the MWC is over, many of the manufacturers are gearing up to bring their flagships to India, this month. We have listed out the upcoming devices in this article. So, if you’re planning to buy a new smartphone, you better take a look.

Samsung has already started rolling out media invites for the India launch of its latest flagships, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The Indian variants of these flagships are most likely to be powered by Octa-Core Exynos 8890 chipset in lieu of quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor. Samsung has not revealed the pricing and availability for these devices yet, however, we expected them to be priced like their predecessor, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

LG G5

The LG G5 made many heads turn at its launch event at MWC. Many of the LG fanboys have been waiting for the device to launch in India. While many reports are claiming that the India launch might be slated for April, but with Samsung launching its devices in the starting of this month, we expect LG to make a quick move too. The company might end up launching its flagship within the month of March, to compete with Samsung.

Following the recent launch of the Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi has revealed that the next device to enter Indian shores would be its much-talked about flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 5. The company’s Vice President, Hugo Barra confirmed the launch month, however, he did not unleash any info regarding the device’s pricing and availability in India.

LeEco Le Max ProLeMax Pro

LeEco is under the spotlight when it comes to sales response, the company sold unbelievable units of the Le 1s in a few seconds. In terms of design and outlook, the Le Max Pro smartphone is a lot more similar to its predecessor, the Le Max, which was launched in India early this year. LeEco has not revealed the launch timeline, but we expect it too put the device on sale within this month, in India.

Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 PlusLenovo Vibe K5 Plus

The Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 Plus were first unveiled at the MWC last month. Lenovo is expected to launch the devices sometime in the second week of March in India. Both these smartphones come with metal bodies and Dolby Audio certification with dual-speaker setup. These devices can be seen as cut-down versions of the Lenovo K5 Note.

Gionee Elife S8Gionee S8

In its first stint at MWC 2016, Barcelona, Gionee unveiled its flagship device, the Gionee Elife S8. The smartphon comes with 3D Touch (like the Apple iPhone 6s? Yes!). The functionality of the pressure-sensitive 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display used on the device is similar to the iPhone 6s. Gionee claimed that the device can sense up to 3 levels of force. Gionee is expected to launch the device within this month in India.
