The highlight of the watch is that the user is free from the hassles of charging as its battery gives a power for almost 18 months (1.5 years). “An active lifestyle often makes you give up on important things in life. TIMEX wants its consumers to not give up on their style for functionality or vice versa. Metropolitan+ is for the modern day men who demand a fit and active lifestyle and are always connected on the go,” said Anupam Mathur, Head - Sales and Marketing, Timex Group India Limited.

“It is a perfect fit for the men who are interested in tracking their daily progress but wouldn’t want to sacrifice the beauty of a traditional watch on their wrist, a best of both worlds. With Metropolitan+, the daily lifestyles of our male consumers will become effortless, convenient and dynamic,” he added.

Commenting on the exclusive partnership, Mayank Shivam, Category Leader, Amazon Fashion, said, “Amazon.in is a platform of choice for customers to shop online for wearable technology as well as fashion products. Timex Metropolitan+ is a perfect blend of fashion and technology that will make our customers’ lives easier while enhancing their fashion quotient. We are happy to be the exclusive partner for Timex on this as we continue to offer easy, convenient and reliable shopping experience to our customers across the country. This initiative is in keeping with Amazon.in’s endeavor to bring the best of the brands for Indian consumers and we are confident that the Metropolitan+, exclusively available on Amazon.in, will be a product they will love to own.”

There are two variations available for Metropolitan+ -- a watch with a silver-tone case, a black dial with red accents and a textured leather strap and another with a black case with a black dial and orange accents, and comes with interchangeable black silicone and orange nylon straps. The watches are equipped with TIMEX’s flagship INDIGLO night-light. The phone app is compatible with both iOS and Android. The watch is water resistant up to 50 meters.
