Times Of India Launches Mobile ePaperIndia’s most popular English daily The Times of India today launches “Mobile-ePaper” service which provide the online Print Editions of English Daily direct on Mobile Phone (GSM/CDMA) at free of cost. The Mobile ePaper is one step advanced service from its earlier M-Paper service and its the new way to read and experience the favorite Printed publication online while on move.

The “Mobile ePaper” service allows accessing the e-paper version at free of cost (GPRS/3G Data charges applicable as per plan) and the users also can choose the city from Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow & Jaipur. Times group’s Mobile ePaper service offers 3 different Print editions on Mobile Phone–The Times of India, The Economic Times & Mirror. With this service users need to make sure you have a high speed Mobile Internet Connection and Browser/Phone which support the PDF file.

According to the Times of India the service is compatible with Apple iPhone and BlackBerry handset. However before publishing this news on TelecomTalk I personally check the service on Nokia E75 with MTNL 3G connections and 3 different web browser i.e Nokia, Opera Mobile10 and Bolt and its working fine with these 3 mobile browser.

Any one can access the ePaper easily because it shows a complete list of all the pages of the Main Print and the extra pages. Users will get a 100% scanned version in pdf format on which when you mouse over the individual articles you get the option to read the article in detail in a new window.
