Tata Photon Looks To Reengage With The Consumers Through A New LookTata Photon Plus, the high speed internet access service of Tata Teleservices is going through a brand re-positioning exercise.

The new brand campaign proposes to give a new dimension, a perspective that it aims to communicate to its target audience.

Within a short span of time, the brand Tata Photon has become iconic to high speed mobile internet services, through its core value proposition of providing uninterrupted speeds and seamless connectivity.

The launch of Tata Photon Plus, in 2009 gave the Indian consumer access to superfast internet speeds that made a winning difference to the consumer’s life.It was important to establish two important aspects of Tata Photon Plus then, first being the high speed wireless broadband internet and secondly a Wireless USB device one can carry it along everywhere.

The brand was launched on the platform of speed, with the line ‘I carry speed’. This proved to be a hugely successful proposition for the brand as the performance in the market was truly remarkable and showed enormous growth. Today, the brand has almost two million subscribers across India and is hugely popular.

Since then, Tata Photon Plus has come a long way from just being able to provide the convenience and super fast internet services along with the surfing speed of up to 3.1Mbps to a complete gadget that takes on other tasks such as Get Speed, Get Time – the opportunity to get more time for life as a result of the enhanced productivity enjoyed by Tata Photon users.

tata jokers… re engage with consumers with reduced price not some pseudo cosmetic changes. tata is chor like reliance. bot are the same!

its tata docomo is offering 6GB for rs.95 but tata indicom/photon plus is charging around rs.1000 for the same 5GB! the speeds claimed by tata photon (upto 3 mbps) is false and a lie! speeds don’t cross 500 kbps with an average speed of 200-250 kbps only.

so f*** you tata. ch*** saley.

Even after 3G launch, Photon do gets its share of business, since it got nationwise coverage rather then circle wise coverage like GSM 3G operators, which is a major setback roaming people. More then anything CDMA suits for reliable data transfer then inconsistant GSM 3G network.

Since tata got license to operate 3G in fewer circles and how can they provide 3.1Mbps in all cities. Useless ads!! Trai should take action on tata for advertising such fake ads.

Never got download speed above 0.5 Mbps at Shimla. Pathetic speeds. Total wastage of money on Photon+. Anyone willing to purchase one should first call TATA representative and check speed at the place of use. Otherwise the device cost will go waste, MNP not available on this faciltiy.
