yeah i knw photon plus or netconnect plus offers faster connctn than bsnl wireline bb !
but internt tariff is nt as cheap as mmobile tariff !!

It all depends on the distance from the wireless tower to your place.
I enquired about photon+ in last month and those guys cam to my place to give a demo.I showed them 2 mbps BSNL wired broadband speed by downloading a 50 MB file.They could show me download speed ~ 256-300 kbps only by downloading the same file.
A reliance net connect tower is few meters away from my place but unfortunately they don’t provide a demo.

It’s a shame, while mobile tariff is falling and falling, data charges r still high in India, in Finland all citizen will get a 1Mbps internet connection free of cost from 2012 !
BSNL offers unlimited EVDO @ 550/- ,speed 2.4Mbps (varies from zone to zone)

man Wireless internet @ 3.1 Mbps, often better than my 2Mbps BSNL Broadband. on the move Photon+ or Reliance NetConnect+ is a better choice.

Just as TATA DOCOMO set a trend with its ONE PAISE PER SECOND (which many operators are not copying shamelessly!) will TATA BROADBAND set a trend of FREE LAPTOP … lets wait and watch if AIRTEL BROADBAND or BSNL DATA ONE or RELIANCE BROADBAND can match this offer!
