tushar k. March 4, 2011 at 11:26 pm

AMAR January 19, 2011 at 11:55 am
THANK GOD.
I WANT TO GO OUT FROM MY TATA INDICOM NO. TO ANY OTHER BUT AFTER THIS OFFER ,I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND.
Keshav Jha January 19, 2011 at 3:19 am
I have unlocked my Tata Indicom (Haier C6000) myself. I had to dial a unique no. from my mobile only.
hariprasad January 17, 2011 at 7:51 pm

Agnivo January 17, 2011 at 6:22 pm
@ISHA
Right, one can buy unlocked CDMA handsets at http://www.ebay.in
ISHA January 17, 2011 at 5:54 pm
Those who have open market CDMA handset can change to any CDMA operator.
ISHA January 17, 2011 at 5:49 pm
There are some rumours that tata indicom will be taken by MTS
ANIRBAN January 17, 2011 at 5:37 pm
Goog move by TATA but in terms of coverage and network quality MTS is Best Option.I am using MTS since aprx 2 years with lifetime 30p/min call rate and 150 min/day MTS to MTS offer and it goes superb.
A Mohapatra January 17, 2011 at 3:34 pm
Sorry I have no idea about this but I’ll try to contact BSNL authorities and confirm you. But one thing I know is that your CDMA Handset must be SIM or R-UIM based. If it is a non-removable SIM based then you can’t port to BSNL CDMA using same handset. If you port, you have to change Handset.
Avishek Ghosh January 17, 2011 at 3:32 pm
+1 4 that….
Santu Sovan Mandal January 17, 2011 at 3:07 pm
Mts has superb coverage even better than indicom. Last february I went to sunderban. I found there mts network but surprisingly no network of indicom was there.
rajiev January 17, 2011 at 2:30 pm
in kolkatta , indicom has best coverage than other cdma operator, no idea about WB, and mts is grown up child
rajiev January 17, 2011 at 2:30 pm
ask to street retailer, they inform u which one is better
Agnivo January 17, 2011 at 2:25 pm
@Avishek Ghosh
Yea, I recommend MTS to others too. I got my mom a MTS connection and it is lifetime 1p/2sec, taken before they made it valid for 1year.
I wonder if 95 paper voucher still makes lifetime 1p/sec…
Keshav Jha January 17, 2011 at 2:13 pm
Very good competition to MTS.
hardeep January 17, 2011 at 2:01 pm
awesome…………!!!!!
Avishek Ghosh January 17, 2011 at 1:42 pm
MTS has larger coverage area than indicom(atlist in WB) & MTS also has good n/w quality than tata……So MTS is a better choice than tata….
Another thing…”Offer valid upto 31st March, 2011″…this is applicable 4 tata…but MTS has continuing its 95 mcard till now & hope it will be available for nxt few years……

Agnivo January 17, 2011 at 11:46 am
I was planning to port my virgin cdma number to MTS but now I got another choice from Indicom due to 1p/2sec offer.
Can anyone enlighten me CDMA data offers from Indicom? I’d like to use my CDMA handset as modem while I travel.
Agnivo January 17, 2011 at 11:43 am
A good step in the right direction (as shown by MTS). The benefit over MTS is they are pan-India operator. I hope they continue the offer post 365 days too.
A Mohapatra January 17, 2011 at 10:48 am
Yes, BSNL CDMA is available in Orissa and has good coverage in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Rourkela and some other districts but to get it, your CDMA Phone must be R-UIM based i.e. is it should be having slot for removable CDMA SIM. BSNL doesn’t provide ESN type mobile connections without SIMs.
If you have heard of BSNL EVDO and NIC Cards, these are all working using BSNL CDMA network only. I myself am using BSNL EVDO Card for wireless internet in Bhubaneswar.
A CDMA R-UIM costs you just Rs. 20 and with activation voucher, it will cost less than Rs.100 or even less than Rs. 50 depending on the FRC you choose.
Ankur January 17, 2011 at 10:35 am
