Tata hikes Photon Max wifi postpaid tariff by 120%

Tata photon max offers peak download speeds up to 6.2 Mbps on the Rev.B platform. Tata has hiked the tariff of its postpaid photon max wifi in Delhi. The Rs.1250 plan which used to initially offer 30GB data now offers only 20GB (10GB day + 10GB night) which implies a 33% reduction of data offered. The 30GB pack tariff has been increased from Rs. 1250 to Rs.3000 which translates to a 120% hike in tariff.

Tata teleservices managed to bag spectrum in 800MHz band in key circles of Maharashtra, Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh where its licences are coming up for renewal in 2018 to ensure continuity of services without interruption.

Tata had not been allowed to bid for spectrum in the circles where it does not possess any in a particular band on account of negative net worth. This prevented it from bidding for 800MHz in Assam, North East and Jammu & Kashmir.  Tata has roaming agreement with Rcom for seamless connectivity for photon subscribers Pan India.
