Tata Docomo India’s fastest growing and Innovative telecom company today announced the launch of ‘Sneham pack’ exclusively for its prepaid GSM and CDMA customers across Andhra Pradesh telecom circle.
Under this offer, GSM and CDMA prepaid subscribers can make local calls to any Tata DOCOMO mobile numbers at 1paise per 6 seconds and to other local mobile numbers at 1paise per 2 seconds on the recharge of Rs 23.
Note : The ‘Sneham pack’ is valid for 30 days only. First Minute of the day will be charged at 1.5paise/second.
Speaking about the offer, Mr Ramakrishna, Chief Operating Officer, Andhra Pradesh Circle, Tata Teleservices Limited, said, “The new recharge voucher offers extensive talk time that gives value for money to our customers. Through this offer, we are reaching out to diverse segments under prepay category to make mobility simpler and affordable.”

It is a Great plan. It gives 10p Tata numbers and 30p to other local numbers. No other operator is offering this type of plan. I am using this plan and I am saving 30% with this plan. I have an other SIM from “Big” operator and I am charged at 1.5p/min and I have no option to reduce tariffs. “Big” Operator changed my tariff from 1p/Sec to 1.5p/Sec. Thanks to Tata Docomo there is competition in the market, “Big” operators like Airtel and Idea are being stopped from increasing tariffs.

Tata Docomo ad campaign is grossly misleading. They are advertising cheap monthly boosters in a bigway, but actually they are collecting on par with, in some cases, more than their competitors. Lured by their offers I went for Walky, but silently they increased Walky tariff on par with BSNL, though it is just a mobile phone, with albeit with eight digit number. The greedy and cheating practices of TATA Docomo are now making its much-hated rival Reliance a gentleman.

Useless plans by Tata Docomo. Tata has silently increased all the tariffs in CDMA. In 599/- plan now 30 min/day for only local calls and validity is only 21 days. I have applied for MNP to MTS. MTS is going to give me 30p/min local/std/roaming/sms/data for 180 days, and more than full talktime in Top-ups (400/- tt in 340/- etc). Great plan by MTS.

I have already pointed out earlier. This is a deceptive offer. First call 1.5 paise per second means 60 paise extra per day over the promised 30 paise per minute. Hence it comes to Rs 18 over and above the cost of voucher Rs 23. So the total charge for month is Rs 42. While fact is this, how can TATA Docomo publicise this as Rs 23 voucher? Just a marketing gimmick.

This offer already existed from a long time in Hyd from DOCOMO. Its just marketing gimmick. But anywas I am a happy user of DOCOMO, only complain no 3G.

The same offer without condition of inflated call rate for first call is avilable in Bihar for tata CDMA customer at Rs.21 only for 90 days.
