Tata Docomo the GSM Mobile Service provider has launched its postpaid plans for Tamilnadu, Orissa and Kerala telecom circle tagged as Start, Premium, Platinum, Elite with price range of Rs.299 to Rs.1099 which is classified for heavy ,light ,and normal users . Tata Docomo is also offering to subscribers to customize the Tariff plans with their own choice of usage.
There are 3 standard FREE toppings will available that customer can choose as their choice that are 150 local mins / 50 local + mins STD / 500 local person to person sms. With Start 299, Subscriber can take any three (3) free topping combinations. Under Premium 499, customer can take any six (6) free topping combinations. Under Platinum 799, customer can take any ten (10) free topping combination’s.
For Example: With Start 299 plan, subscriber can have one combination of the three toppings as 150 Local Free Minutes, 50 STD Minutes & 500 Local SMSs. Or the combination can be two toppings of the 150 Local Free Minutes i.e. 300 local minutes and one topping of 50 STD Minutes (because the total number of combination’s is three)
Another example can be as 1 topping of local 150 minutes and 2 toppings of 50 STD minutes Or the combination can be all 3 toppings of 150 minutes, totaling to 450 local minutes

I have seen first time the most worst sevice in world.I would like to say that sales person gives always wrong information, after that customer care agent says now i can not help you and your deposit is not refundeble.At least you have to use docomo six months.
My friend I have no time to go to take any legal action !!!!!!!!!!

Tata docomo does not accept ICICI bank statement for change of address. The nodal officer openly says that ICICI cannot be called as a bank, it wants addrss proof from SBI only. It expects a proof on your name and not in ur parents name.
We changed two houses in 4 yrs and could not change addrss with Docomo & Photon+.
Will Pranab Mukerjee feel bad that an existing bank is derecognised by a mobile operator? TRAI should look into this.

Please don’t migrate to postpaid rather migrate to some other network Tatadocom is worst service on earth . I have a post paid connection with number 9840060169 and I am not getting incoming calls for the past 10 days and they are taking it very easy and say it will take two or three days to resolve the issue like that they will drag it and one technique what they have is if you call customer support and complain them which they cont clear after that how many every times you try on customer care number every time you get response saying ‘ all our executives are busy attend other customers please leave an email to listen@tatadocomo’ and only next day you will be able to connect to customer care again. This is very very very worst service provider so please change to some other network. Thanks

I am not satisfied with the plan.As per the plan with 299rs postpaid connection ,i can have maximum 150 std minutes free whereas for the same plan maximum of 450 local minutes is free which i dont prefer .
So as per this plan i can talk for only 5 min std per day…better to continue the prepaid connection

I wanted to purchase two Tata Docomo prepaid cards, so visited one of the shops called Khajanchi Super Market, Dr. M. C. Jawle Road, Near Dadar west kabutarkhana, Dadar – Mumbai – 400 028. The information provided by that shop was really shocking and surprising to me due to the fact that the cost of the card was Rs. 49/- each and there was a premium of Rs. 200 to Rs. 500 on each card if the number is easy or having same 3 digits at the end i.e. 333 or 444 or 666 or 000 or 555 so on. Not only that he also forced me to recharge the card for a minimum of Rs. 200/- on ist purchase. When I asked why it is so? he replied that its compulsory to recharge with a minimum amount of Rs. 200 otherwise I will not get the card. This is certainly not expected from Tata. I dont know whether this policy of black marketing has been adopted by Tata or the dealer by charging a sum of Rs. 200 to Rs. 500 for few numbers and also forcing us to recharge for Rs. 200/-. I would like to know whether this policy has been fixed by the company (Tata) or the dealer? Please clarify immediately. If not by the company then what action Tata proposes to take against such dealer? Your early reply in the matter will be appreciated.

The std tariff for the 3 plans are the same. What is so crazy in paying so much of rental, with out any value add…is any 1 listening. Other service providers are offering local charges much less than DoCoMo. How good is it shifting to this new service. Guys observe 1 thing, when ever u give a call any tata fone, even before the call is connected, the call timer starts and thats how we are billed, irrespective of whether the other person has picked the call or not.

Confuse the customer so that he asks for more info. Then convert him after he is convinced that a certain plan is better than the other. As long as he takes a plan it makes sense for DOCOMO.

The tata postpaid plans don’t make any sense.
As the termination charges are 20 paise for 1 minute, tata could well have all local calls at 30 paise per min with a rental as low as Rs. 100. None of the above plans match Reliance GSM’s Platinum 225 G Plan.
However, the GPRS plan of Rs. 99 per month rocks.
