Tata docomo has always been innovative in launching new tariff plans to its customer. Tata docomo has launched a new plan at Rs 666 for both existing and new customers in karnataka which will offer unlimited local calls to any local network including landlines with an validity of 30 days.
Tata docomo had already launched a unlimited local and std pack at 899 few months back which has got a good response.
This pack is aimed to those customer who has got high local calls usage and average recharge of rs 1000 on recharge. With this special recharge customers can also recharge any std sms or isd rate cutter to reduce other call rate.
So what’s your suggestions will this plan be suitable if launched in other circles? Should other operators also offer unlimited local calls at a feasible rate ? Do share your views via comments.

No need to go for unlimited plans..Docomo CDMA & GSM are offering me some great recharge options…
1)Recharge with Spl RC 18 and get 150 min Local/STD min for 30 days
2)Recharge with Spl RC 14 and get 60 min Local/STD min for 30 days + 800 loc/nat sms for 7 days
3)Recharge with RC 42 and get 10000 loc/nat sms for 30 days..
I am recharging all the three in combo and getting 1000 min + unlimited(almost) sms for around Rs. 170/=
I am not a talkathalon and these are enough for me..Just if the signal of GSM was better & behter..!!!
Docomo is the best in offers..
And yes..there is another offer in my Mom’s Docomo CDMA…Rs. 35 talktime for TopUp Rs. 20…I am yet to recharge it!!!!!

Utter Worst Network with Useless offers. Docomo is spending Money for Ram Charan Teja and Ranbir Kapoor for promotions. This is called Magic without logic. Without towers (Coverage) we can’t able to access network connectivity. DOCOMO is thinking that they are Having Seamless coverage in Karnataka. I’m sure that I’m staying in Karnataka I’m not able to use DOCOMO in Rural areas of Karnataka coz of it’s non availability of coverage. DOCOMO is having Zero connectivity in Industrial areas of Karnataka. Shameless Docomo Go and Hang Yourself

Yes Uninor is good in Kolkata.They don’t have good SMS packs.100sms/day pack is not sufficient heavy text users.

may be uninor is bad in Karnataka but currently in wb it has improved a lot. It has far better coverage than aircel, idea and docomo and sometimes even better than bsnl and reliance also. Currently even in subscriber base of wb it is at the no.4 spot (voda,airtel,rel,uni,bsnl,aircel. . . . .).

TD has a lot of network problem, especially indoor coverage is very poor. Also, their customer service sucks all time.
Their 3G internet has lot of connectivity problem. CC will always give the same solution. “Reset your APN, restart you phone”.

The Worst Operator in Karnataka is Uninor. No Network Coverage from Tumkur Main Road To Chitradurga Highway (NH4) always Zero Points in My Mobile. Thank God I’ve Never Expected this kind of Coverage from any other operators.

just reached kolkata and found docomo is the worst operator of here. Frequent call drops, poorest coverage, 2-3kB/sec internet speed. Still now uninor is far better than it.
Today travelled around 150+km (from berhampore to kol) and found docomo has only 25% coverage, but uninor has around 95%+ coverage.

I am using tata docomo gsm kolkata Rs99/- rental pack–
1.500 min any local or std after 500 min all local 30p/min,tata no 10p/min,std 75p/min
2.100 sms after 100 sms is 25p/sms or can use Rs30 sms rental.
I always get my bill with in Rs115/- to Rs120/-

This offer is available in Prepaid as well as STV in Kolkata..The best part is that this is available in CDMA prepaid also…CDMA service of Docomo has very good signal strength throughout Kolkata and suburbs…But these tariffs are never meant for common people as common people never ever thinks to cross the limit of Rs. 200=00 or so per month..These plans are for IT-guys and other corporate affluent guys who have to never ever bother about the price of mustard oil,sugar,pulses etc…these are for those fellows who seem to be always “very” busy and always on the move with business…So we shall not be bothered by these plans…
BEST suitable plans which may be afforded by many are like
i)2000 min local to Tata numbers
ii)1000 min to other local numbers
iii)500 local/natl sms
iv)1 GB Data
All these for around Rs. 300-350 per month..maximum permissible is Rs. 400=00 p.m.

These Plans are also launched by Reliance Communication , but these are not UNLIMITED Plans as mentioned , they all have capping on no of minutes in the disguise of “Fair Usage Policy”. These companies should communicate this proactively to customer which I suppose they are not..

I have seen a offer in a tata docomo cdma poster inside a local shop saying recharge of 598 will give unlimited local call,sms(daily upto 200) and unlmtd data for 30 days in kolkata.Can anyone confirm this?I think its THE best plan!

Tooo Costly… BSNL is having the same offer but only Rs 300 for inside the telephone circle and Rs 501 for all over India, including Land line. This offer will be available for conference call also.

Waste offer until they improve their network. I have seen many places in karnataka where network jumps from docomo to vodafone. So we wil be having roaming charge even inside home circle. Cheap tariff is warte. 1st improve ur coverage docomo
