Tata Docomo Launches Traffic Alerts for Bengaluru Subscribers

Tata Docomo today announced a unique Traffic SMS alerts for its prepaid & postpaid subscribers in Benguluru (Bangalore – Karnataka circle).

This service is a category first in the industry and a breakthrough from the routine Value added services which are offered to the Telecom consumers. Tata Docomo subscribers can avail this amazing service by opting from a range of VAS packs at Rs.30 per month, Rs 10 per week or Rs 1.5 per day as their choice.

This value added service allows Tata Docomo subscribers to choose start & end location while selecting the time to receive real time traffic information. In order to receive alerts the customers are required to configure these options.

These options can be configured through the product interface thus making this value added service device independent. The alerts also include the speed at which traffic is moving along with the different stretches of the road. The services will also keep customers alert of road accident & event information.

    I’M USING VODAFONE, AIRCEL, BSNL IDEA AND DOCOMO SERVICES AND APART FROM THIS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IS HAPPENED WITH DOCOMO. EVERYTIME IN MY MOBILE IT WILL SHOW NO NETWORK ACCESS EVEN THE SIGNAL IS FULL. ABOUT 3G, IT IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE IN MY HOMETOWN EITHER I HAS TO USE BSNL 3G / AIRCEL 3G. YEW ALWAYS HAVING NETWORK PROBLEM EVERYTIME NETWORK DISCONNECTS AT EVENING DURING CONVERSATION. I’VE NEVER SEEN SUCH A WORST OPERATOR IN MY LIFE. SQUASHED DOWN MY DOCOMO SIM CARD AND HAPPY WITH OTHER SERVICES

    Docomo is the worst operator has not having reliability in Network. Everytime It says Network Busy Even the Signal is full. Even Most of My Friends lost their jobs because of this Traitor network. Very Bad Move By Dabba Docomo

    Amit.G :

    Well said. I used docomo SIM from Tamilnadu and it was always latching to Aircel network. Because of this, the calling rates changed to per minute (Rs.1 and Rs.1.50) instead of Rs.0.015 per second for all calls. Big fraud by docomo.

    Hey docomo,

    First of all you improve the coverage of your own towers first. Then you can provide traffic alerts. Or else you should provide only MISSED CALL ALERTS !!!. LOL LOL LOL !!!.

    @i45
    Yes TATA lost 10 million customers in 1 year.
    Users are moving out of TATA docomo because of its worst network which becomes so busy in the evening that it will say switched off even though the docomo Number is on.

    I moved out of Docomo for this reason. every evening i used to receive an sms from tata saying ” You have 10/12/20/37(depends) MISS CALLS” & my Family&Friends used to complain that my phone will be OFF most of the time!!!

    NOT A RELIABLE OPERATOR AT ALL…
