It's time for data price war in CDMA segment in India as Tata Docomo has launched new mobile Internet packs with more usage and extra validity for their prepaid CDMA customers in Haryana circle.
The new packs are really cheap as compared with GPRS packs provided by GSM operators and allows users to access mobile Internet upto 155kbps CDMA 1x network using their mobile phones. The new packs of Rs.26, Rs.69 and Rs.115 has been introduced with data usage of 1GB, 4GB and 6GB and validity of 7, 28 and 56 days respectively.
Besides this some older packs have been revamped by the company. The Rs.5/day pack which was providing 50MB before is now offering 100MB for a day. Data usage in Rs.48 and Rs.95 pack has been increased from 1GB and 4GB to 2GB and 6GB respectively.

Mobile Browsing and mobile tethering benefits will be given to CIMO 1X customers for these packs.
Only Mobile Browsing benefits will be given to CIMO 3X/HSIA/EVDO/OMH customers for these packs.
*This pack will be @ price point of Rs.12 on EVD recharge.
The packs are valid for both Tata CDMA handset users and Open Market Handset i.e OMH users. Tethering using these packs is allowed only on 1X network and on EV-DO it will be charged at base rate of 10p/10KB. The packs are also valid for Tata Docomo Walky users.
Please note that Tata Docomo EV-DO coverage is currently present only in Panipat as of now in Haryana. In other areas only 1X is available and user will get downlink speed of upto 155Kbps.
