Currently 3G market base is growing, but very slowly. Tata Docomo’s latest plans with double data benefits can change the mindset about 3G being costly.

Tata Docomo has released four new plans under this new scheme:
1. Rs 22 for 300 MB, 3 days validity
2. Rs 39 for 300 MB, 7 days validity
3. Rs 90 for 600 MB, 30 days
4. Rs 255 for 2GB, 30 days

All new data packs can be activated via EVD, SMS, USSD, WE, OBD and TIPPS. Customers can pull the balance available into the pool account by sending BAL to 121.

Announcing the new packs, Mr Yatish Mehrotra, Hub Head-South, Tata DOCOMO said “Focused on user experience Tata DoCoMo’s new 3G data prepaid plans are affordable and simple. They reinforce our position as a pioneer in introducing innovative and value for money offers for its valuable customers The double data advantage has effectively removed the artificial price barriers to 3G by making it available at 2G prices.”

If you are from Karntaka circle, Tata Docomo’s latest 3G plans are best value for money. Right now Airtel, Vodafone and Idea offer 1GB 3G data for Rs 250, and 1GB 2G data for 95. Airtel/Vodafone/Idea offer 1GB 2G data for Rs 125. Tata Docomo offers 3G data on the same price almost. So these new plans are from Tata Docomo remains cheapest for new customers.

No one Wants Docomo. Especially in Karnataka DOCOMO Needs To Shut Down Their Towers instead of Aircel Now People Are Going For Aircel instead of DOCOMO and Might Be Aircel Will Restart it’s Operation Very Soon.

These plans are available from October 2012 in Haryana or maybe before that. It’s 150+150MB plan here for Rs.21 for 3 days. I’ve a message in my inbox which was sent by Docomo in June last year which confirms that 600MB in 90 is available from so many months. But 150+150MB data is available from October only. But nice share as many people aren’t aware of this. :) TT always sharing and caring.

No operator has expanded thher 3G network through out the state they hold license. one cannot stick to city to get 3G and it is all money making by fooling public. Where reliance is going to roll out 4G pan India and can provide 3G too.

Almost 3 year after launch, they still don’t have 3G at kottayam city. Me my self has complaining about it for last 3 years.

Idea 3G has covered almost 70% areas of kottayam district. Bsnl has covered all towns.

Nice offer by TD. The only problem with TD is it has lot of connectivity issue. many time I get connection error and internet autometically gets disconnet after every 30 to 40 mins. You can’t trust TD if you really want to use it for work form Home and all. But new plan are really good if you buy for home use.

Docomo you are not the cheapest 3G pack in Karnataka, it goes for Aircel
Are you not aware of Aircel 447 pack s
2 Gb 3G Data per month (3 Months validity) -> counts to 150 per month for 2GB 3G data & then Unlimited 2G.

-> Aircel allows to use their 3G data in either 2G or 3G networks, I loves this option

Now what AVoId will Do to avoid migration of 3G data customers to TATA DOCOMO?

    Reply
    • Saurabh February 21, 2013 at 9:57 pm

Actually they will do nothing as they know Docomo is limited to 9 circles only and rarely you find 3G coverage. Even within city limits there is no 3G. Forget about towns and villages. I’m from Haryana and very well aware of their situation here. The subscriber figures released yesterday also confirms that instead of leaving the AVoId group, people are preferring them and moving in. AVoId has added more customers while Tata and Reliance are losing customers mainly due to poor network and equal pricing. People are now preferring quality over price and companies very well know this.
