Tata Docomo, the GSM venture between Tata Teleservices and Japan’s tele-giant NTT Docomo has come with a new special tariff voucher for prepaid subscribers in Kolkata and West Bengal telecom circles.
Tata Docomo is already offering a special voucher priced Rs 45 for calling any local number at 1 paisa per 2 seconds (equivalent to 30p/minute) for a period of 30 days. Now Tata Docomo goes further, takes a new Juice Up to cut down night call rates along with benefits of Juice Up 45. This STV, though priced a little high reduces the call rate more.
Details of Tata Docomo Juice Up 65-:
Maximum Retail Price (MRP) Rs 65, Tariff Validity 30 days.
Benefits:- All local calls in between 7am to 11pm @ 1paisa/2 seconds (equivalent to 30p/min).

TATA DOCOMO service is worst among all operaors. In my residential area at Barrackpore (Nayapally,kazipara) indoor coverage is very poor since last One Year. Several times I complained and they gave resolving time. Last timing was 31st Jan’10. After that day Nodal officer confirmed that no cell site was not planned at our place. But the CCEs are still saying new tower setup is under process,if it will continue the user of our area bound to prt out from this Network.

There is nothing unique in your call charge.If Aircel previously offer 1p/sec call charge then why people will buy docomo connection. Even Idea also offer lower tariff (40p/min), then why I use Docomo. Do something new otherwise peopel use docomo sim as a recharge card(As in most area it sell at Rs.50 with Rs.44 talktime) and throw it to dustbin.

@Rahul
Ya you are right, DOCOMO is just worst network in Kolkata, just bakwas. They are just luring by innovative onnet buddynet offer. But offer is complete bakwas as you have to speak outside of your house. Docomo just worst……….

i called up TN call center, first exp itself is not smooth.
1) the call got disconnected twice before reaching the rep.
2) i asked them to explain post paid tariff, they said system is down they cant give right now.
3)They asked for my details to call me within 2-3 days from the concerned department. I told them to take my number and mail id and send details. For this he asked my full name , initials etc. I told him just take down the name i am giving. he said he cant forward my request without initials, full name etc.these are mandatory requirements
It seems at DOCOMO customer preference is the last word.
DOCOMO ki jai ho

@Prasath J
BSNL in TN is aso providing showering offers……………………………. that is one of good for local and onnet call ………………………….
IG January 11, 2010 at 11:29 am
@Prasath J
yes …………. this docomo kolkata’s offer looks a little bit better than your mentioned circle.. but docomo will not get unanimously support from here in west bengal for this offer ..
“”showering offers”" …
there are two differences in showering offer in west bengal ……one Mts and others docomo’s this offer.. is’t it….??
but Mts also provides the same 30p/ min local call in kerala….when Mts first rolled in its card that has been providing 30p/ min for local call and inroduced 1p/sec for all local and 1p/ 2 secs to Mts no. they also rolled out per moth rc card for reducing call rate………………..
if you find that how many ct did Mts add in that period because of reliance 50 p call came in to the market…. so there is no other way to Mts to keep providing this per moth card so that Mts 1p/2secs offer is present………
your this question’s another answer would be ,it depends on people’s economical condition…………………..
is there any other showering offers”" present in WEst bengal that you are talking about……………………………………………………..??
Prasath J January 10, 2010 at 10:31 pm
Man in TN, Rs54/month is needed for 1p/2sec local calls (MOBILE only and not for Landlines)… But here night plan + 1p/2sec for Rs65/month…
I don’t know why all operators are showering offers on Bengal and Kolkata than other circles???
IG January 10, 2010 at 6:03 pm
i deduce that their cc was mentioned not to tell to docomo’s user recharge with rc 30 within decbr so that everyone d not get the offer of 1p/4 secs to all local tata no……………………………………………………………………….this is the truth …………………………………………………
IG January 10, 2010 at 5:58 pm
its cc are not good onnee………………… i took docomo’ connection before decbr, its cc told me if i recharge with rs 30 then i will get 1p/4secs to all tata no from my docomo for night calling and rs 25 tt…….. but cc even did not mentioned me to recharge with 30 rs within decbr so that i planned to recharge latter……………….when i called its cc some days ago they told me that i can not get this offer because decmbr is over and i told them that i was not mentioned to recharge withen the given period by them then they repented for their inconvinence…………………………………………………………………………………….
IG January 10, 2010 at 5:48 pm
what docomo is trying to do is docomo knows, its sms offer finishs after 3 monts, after 3 month sms charge are 60p for local and 120 p for national,where 1p sms are already provided by reliance…………………………….they still believe their users know that their sms offer are the best onee….
Suchisuvra Sen January 10, 2010 at 5:32 pm
Bawkas offer for bawakas network.I don’t understand why TATA DOCOMO people can’t understand the demand of the people. They don’t have proper network,failed to launch in North 24 Pargonas in West Bengal. If you are really interested pay per second go for Aircel, also for per minute where they are giving STV @ 33 with 40 paisa/sec call rates for life.
IDRIS January 10, 2010 at 5:31 pm

Agnivo January 10, 2010 at 12:51 pm
No, I’m not convinced to spend Rs65 to get those benefits… Sorry to say MTS rocks for local calls anytime in Kolkata circle @ 1p/2sec for lifetime against one-time recharge of Rs95. For STD, I plan to get reliance pay-per-call. I’m set!
Fahad January 10, 2010 at 12:45 pm
