Even by mistake dont go in for a gprs pack coz the executives at the call centre dont know anything abt the settings or how to configure to use on pc or laptop. the net gets disconnected frequently and always shows network busy. n they definetely deduct the amount from the main balance without asking us by activating some stupid service. i forgot to mention never recharge those full talktimes which we get by sms or flash coz they are not lifetime but for a few days. THE SERVICE REALLY SUCKS.

I have tata docomo sim card with gprs @ rs. 49/- but I do not get gprs in running condition on regular basis. Last 3 days it is not working no coverage- when I approach 121 it is always said our customer care executive is busy with other customers pls try later. No use of talking to 121 some time it is disconnected the phone. 52222 is also not getting connecting with customer care. Now I am thinking to change service provider. Such type of attitude noticed in TATA photon also and I disconnected my both internet connection. Anybody is there in TATA to make solution and advise customer care to do some work.

I called up to know how can i change my plan to 1 paisa per 2 sec. first person i spoke to (Kavya) said i can recharge for rs.41 & i would get validity for 1 year & my chrgs would be 1 paisa per 2 sec then i called 2nd time to confirm if info given was correct i spoke to another person who said there is no plan(rs.41) as such which gives validity of 1 yr. for 1 paisa per 2 sec he told me that i can rechrg for rs.23 or rs.99 which will give validity of 1 mnth & 3 mnths respectively. My earlier complaint in this regard did not offer any solution. To further confound the matters it is not possible to find details for various offers. I am a docomo customer, the docomo network is good but sometimes not receiving signal, i have one small favour when compares to other networks its bad why because in uninor just recharge Rs.38 uninor to uninor 1,20,000 seconds its good, but in our network Rs.50 docomo to docomo just 15,000 seconds see how bad so this is my kind information lot members are changing there networks for this plan only from our network to uninor so take action and change it to for better plan.

It seems to me that even Tata Docomo has joined the group of poor service providers and NO CARE to customers! I submitted all the required documents and bought a new sim which got activated on 19.05.2010.And today,on 28.05.2010 my mobile has been disconnected,when I need it the most – I had two very important meetings! When contacted customer care, they told me that they haven`t received my documents and until I re-submit my documents, they cannot activate it.
If the documents are required for identification of the user, how is that sim is activated immediately after buying? That means if an anti-social like terrorist wants a mobile, he can buy it and do whatever with it till the time documents reach service provider`s office!
Then isn`t it a harrassment to the common man to disconnect his mobile under the name of security/identification?

Tata Indicom to Indicom,docomo, Virgin plans are available but from Docomo to Indicom plans are available only in Orissa. However, you can call one Indicom number @ 1p/3sec from Docomo or use On-net Juice ups

In Bihar/Jharkhand Tata Docomo users can recharge with Rs 11 and get 1500 seconds for making local calls on any network (equivalent to 25 local minutes). Pulse rate will be in seconds. This recharge is valid for 1 day.

Tata Teleservices has added highest number of subscribers fifth time in a row.

Tata Docomo has given it the thrust which was needed. The trend is likely to be continued in coming months with launch of Tata Docomo in Gujarat, Rajasthan and HP; launch of Virgin Mobile GSM and Future Groups’s GSM (which is also a franchisee model of tata docomo)..

I am also living in Kolkata. Manu of my friends have taken tata docomo connection. No one is facing any problem. Just because tata docomo’s signal is not there in your house doesn’t mean that its network is worst. You can find its network even in metro station. And I have never found even a single comment by you where you have not criticized Docomo. Come on ab itna bhi bore mat karo. Kucch naya bhi likho..

True brother,sometimes they doesn’t support many handsets. If you call their CC they will surely say you “Sir your set doesn’t support DOCOMO SIM”.But network is only made for top of the city.

Same is here for 4 month, but they have no sense to resolve it. In my area DOCOMO have only very very bad signal quality. I am very much upset with them. Each time they promise me solve before due date. But Idea understand all the quarries by customers, solved it very soon after launch in October in Kolkata. If you compare two network in Kolkata Idea, DOCOMO, you will find Idea have full launch in WB,Kolkata.But TATA DOCOMO is yet to launch in North 24 Pargonas.Even they don’t have tower in Barasat like area.

when i first started using i found tata docomo tariff very much fabulous.
because i always brief over telephone calls. i found my charges ranged from 20ps to 40ps.this in comparison to other mobile operators very cheap. at that time (70 days earlier)itself i thought, others will follow suit.
this has become areality, because many others have comn\e in line to offer per second billing. Each mobile operator comes with a bang, to eastablish their entry &presence , with new tariff plans . but tata docoma”s unique which has changed the whole gamut of mobile tariff plans.

However,if you use Tata Indicom,you can call unlimited to any Tata Indicom/Virgin/Tata Docomo across India by monthly recharge of Rs699.

Tata Teleservices has issued a statement on Dec 2 that it had added highest number of subscribers four times in a row in November.
Tata Teleservices November subscriber additions are close to the previous month’s level of 3.88 million, Managing Director Anil Sardana said on Wednesday.
Though the figures of all operators haven’t been released for November by AUSPI and COAI yet internal data shows that Tata has emerged as top grosser in November too that is fourth time in a row.

Hi All,
Here, I am sharing my first hand experience with TATA Docomo network. It is really pathetic. I stay in J P Nagar, Bangalore. The call drops and voice quality is really bad. Guys, they have only got good Plans and nothing else (seriously). And above that is their customer care service.
Please check the network quality (of TATA Docomo) in your area before going for the connection.

I got my Tatadocomo with my election card and got connected with free 50Rs talktime sim in 1.5 hr flat amazing is it not .Now connectivity really rocks I feel every one should throw out airtel, vodafone and the likes for supporting Tata’s ( for giving brilliant Indica vista and safest small car nano)

I just like to share my experience with you all on DOCOMO .. its PATHETIC . I had taken two connections in my name at a time and given the same proof of address and details to these folks . Now One is barred and when I called to find the reason .. they says the address is not correct on their verification , I had spoken to these folks several time wasting my time, but no use of it . I don’t understand the logic … Why the other connection is not barred, if their reason of my address verification is not correct. I guess that other connection also would have barred by this time . Do any of you have experienced this kind of ridiculous service , I have spoken to the people from call centre , then transferred to the team manager ( Mr.Sai Ram ) to all … nothing happened till now , I started following for this from November beginning .. Another interesting part .. If you call to their call centre ,they will listen you then put you on hold for 20-30mts then disconnect , if you call again we need to start from the beginning …. Hope most of you have experienced this , pls alert the public .
I am sharing my views with you all to prevent , not to be in this trap or hands of this service provider . Be careful and think twice …

Tariff war in the telecom space is intensifying. Reliance Communications has announced a new strategy to counter Tata DoCoMo’s 1 second billing offensive. The company, while addressing a press conference, says a tariff of 50 paise per minute for local and STD calls and SMS charges of 50 paise per SMS will be applicable from October 6 across both GSM and CDMA networks.
The company’s management says it plans lead to savings over per second billing and wants to do away with the short-term approach.

tata docomo is using 1800MHz frequency band..and i think NOKIA 2100 doesn’t support GSM 1800 band,it supports GSM 900.this can be the reason.

The second package will be the ‘Rs. 95 GPRS Pack’. In this pack, the customer can recharge with Rs. 95, and thereafter the customer will be allowed to access unlimited data for the next 30 days. I am using TATA-Docomo MUMBAI-Prepaid SIM / If I use this in DElhi am I entitled to enjoy the same tariff rate viz. 1ps/second 2ps/second while roaming in Delhi.
Please reply. If not May I be able to procure Dellhi-Sim on my poersonal documents the one I submitted while obtaining the SIM in Mumbai. My stay in Delhi will be for couple of years only and hence i might not have permanent residential address. But i can furnish my office address while I am in delhi.

Only Nokia-3315, Nokia- 1100, Nokia- 3310 handsets are not compatible with Do Co Mo SIMs. Other than these handsets all other GSM handsets are compatible with Tata Docomo Sim.

Boundery is exactly like of all other operators have & is defined by DOT. So as you mentioned about residence & work place, residence shall come under Mumbai circle & work place shall come under M&G circle. But of course as per TRAI guideline, if you have Mumbai circle connection then M&G circle will be treated as home network for you & vice versa. No need to pay anything extra!

people are shifting from Idea and airtel to tata docomo and aircel due to the message offer ..
increasing no of students shifting to other sim’s is due to the cancellation of the message offer and increasing in the tariff rate for the message offer especially the Idea mobile which change the pack of 77Rs free sms to charged ones..
College Students strongly showing their dissatisfaction in this ..
thus changing to a better offer mobile ..

TATA and RELIANCE GSM people will use for shot term and not for long term
