TATA-COMMUNICATION-LAUNCHES-VALUE-ADDED-SERVICE-INTERNET-USERSTata Communications Ltd today announced the launch of its "Internet Clean Pipe" solution for small and medium business segments.

The solution ensures clean internet traffic by eliminating malware, spam and virus without the customer having to incur capital expenditure on security hardware.

This solution is the first of its kind by an internet service provider (ISP) in India.

This service utilizes a network based all in one Fortinet Unified Threat Management device which includes anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, intrusion prevention and web filtering capabilities, under which the internet traffic is checked for vulnerabilities before it enters the customer’s premise, thereby ensuring optimal utilization of bandwidth purchased without any unwanted traffic.
