India's auction for Auction for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) licence ended today with bids for pan-India licence touching Rs 12,850 crore with the government clocking a total revenue of Rs.38,543.31 crore. Qualcomm To Bid for Broadband Wireless Access Auction

World's leading wireless telecommunications research and development company, Qualcomm today announced that it has filed an application with the Indian Government to bid in India's upcoming auction for BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) spectrum in the 2.3 GHz band to facilitate the deployment of TD-LTE.
