Calcutta Telephones Shares EVDO Location Details, Only 45% BTS in the Metro Are EVDO Enabled

Calcutta Telephones – the Kolkata metro unit of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has listed the details of CDMA 1x and EVDO BTS location on their website. As per information given there, CalTel has installed 316 CDMA BTS, among them 143 BTS are EVDO enabled, while 173 BTS are just equipped with CDMA1x.
