Alcatel-Lucent will provide gears to multinational consortium to establish the Bay of Bengal undersea cable system. India's Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd is in the consortium along with Vodafone, Omantel, Telekom Malaysia, Dialog Axiata and Etisalat. Telenor Selects Alcatel-Lucent as Tech Partner in Three Circles of India

Global telecom technology partner Alcatel-Lucent has bagged its second big deal in Indian soil, as Norwegian telecom major Telenor selected Alca-Lu for managing end-to-end operational support and business transformation services in Gujarat, Maharastra and Andra Pradesh.
