You guys sick of targeting Nokia fans and nokia no matter ur right or wrong. Wats wrong wit u? Have u ever used a Nokia phone or just bluffing. If u have not used any nokia from 2 years then better stop commenting about it. Agreed to the fact that symbian was not good, but now nokia has woke up and look at its strategies, they have come out wit symbian belle and anna whic have filled lot of gaps. Phones offer better battery back up whic ur ace will not match. I never blame any other company because all companies have quality but Till now nobody has matched wit nokia’s build like stainless steel and glass combination.SORRY SHAKTIMAAN Better use symbian belle once and stay connected for 2 days without any need for charging and a better UI wit 6 home screens.

Amit.G :Nokia’ s FIRST WINDOWS PHONE 703 ( sea ray )Image with specifications has been leaked. Phone looks very decent and slim. Has a RAM of 512MB, 1.2Ghz Processor and 8GB built in Memory, 3.7 inch screen, 5Mp camera. May be the phone will be priced within 20k.

Phone design is almost same as Nokia N9. But I don’t think of any Windows phone from Nokia in India before early 2012.

Indeed you need to do some research and find that who had that UI before Android.

Actually Nokia had have an OS called Maemo. And all the features of Symbian Belle like Notification bar and status bar , are taken from that OS. Which Nokia was using since when Android was in development stage. Better you should try your hands on Nokia 900 and then compare which features of Maemo os are integrated into the belle OS. There is nothing like which is copied from Android. And if they have copied then I’m sure till now Google has sued over Nokia on this issue.

Actually you are a sick of always arguing with half bagged information.

If you have a laptop then try running “Windows XP”, “Windows 7? and latest “Linux” OS then measure the time how much your battery lost, then you will came to know how much an operating system plays role in battery backup.
The same thing applies to the mobile devices also.

the three phones mentioned by u hav 1ghz,412mhz,600mhz processors respectively……still u expect them to give similar backup…..jst wait 4 nokia windows phone with >= 1ghz processors n then i wl see what battery backup they give…..none of the nokia fans will b able to argue on this point….jst wait ….:-):-)

Hey its not 100% true. Operating system plays a major role in determining a phone’s battery back up. One of my friend owns Xperria pro, and other one is having iphone 3Gs. Once i was surfing net from xperria and with in 2 hours phone’s battery came down from 95% to 25%. I have used Internet in iphone 3Gs and was able to surf for more than 4 hours with still 40% battery remaining. Both were under 2G and network is also same as we all use same network. I gave u this to keep nokia aside so that u won feel that im biased. Even my nokia E52 allows me to surf net for more than 3 hours a day for next 2.5 days but i consider it as exceptional because the phone has got very big 1500mah battery whic is very big for a non touch symbian phone. But still Ios, Symbian has better power management than andro. Apple has finetuned its OS in such a way that it is perfect for its hardware. Andro has best User experience and thats the result of its 58% share. But since you know every product or service has a life cycle one day some other os will take over andro. Just like symbian. It was the best os in its growth and maturity stage and now its in its decline stage.onsider it as exceptional because the phone has got very big 1500mah battery whic is very big for a non touch symbian phone. bro i welcome your points bt my opinion is dat almost every phone gives decent battery backup and it totally depends on how it is used……Nokia was the king of handset market when phones were used jst to call n msgs ….so phones delivered excellent backup….now when the era of mobile internet(2g/3g) has started people r moving to different brands and use internet and various apps for most of their time bt they expect their phones to deliver d same backup as their earlier phone(Nokia) which they used mostly for basic purpose….

comments welcomed :) arious apps for most of their time bt they expect their phones to deliver d same backup as their earlier phone(Nokia) which they used mostly for basic purpose….

Philips has also entered in to mobile market with backup upto 60days. They will also launch android models in October with good backups. But tt has not covered it.
    1. Nokia is for people who need good battery backup
    2. Android is for those who can’t afford blackberry and iPhone and need business and multimedia experience.
    3. IPhone for those who truly need multimedia experience.
    4. Blackberry for those who are serious about business all time.

So every company has a place in market though micromax topping the chart in basic user’s category.

Hey illiterate dumb. Just visit any site or go through any articles u always see experts sayin that nokia is no1 in build quality and nobody can match it. Its os was an issue but now wit recent updates nokia is trying to match wit better battery backup. I have used android and its battery goes down from 100 to 30% if i use internet for 2 hours. Wats the use of a smartphone whic require charging all the time? It might be useful for unemployed ppl like u who sit idle and has got ample of time to charge your phone.

You are epic fail here without any argument. Let me explain why u are?

Don’t compare iOS with Symbian or Android which is only meant for the persons who have money to buy such premium devices and they don’t give value to their money at all.

Android is great os but it lacks some powerful features like battery and processor optimizations. Which are still miles away from Symbian and iOS.

All android devices need higher capacity battery and processors along with higher RAM, which results in higher cost of the device. Ultimately no good devices at lower price points.

All android devices from good companies like Sony, Samsung, HTC, LG etc. below the price 13000RS are not up to the standard which everyone wants in their Smartphones. Most of the low end devices in the current Indian markets runs on Android 2.1 and 2.2 and some of them not upgradable to the latest versions. However android has a lot of apps in market but it matters how much of them are useful for an average customer. And I think every platform has those apps.

You need to get rid of this sick before you comment without any facts. Also don’t point that Nokia is loosing market share. Everyone know since 2007, it’s going towards low figures but it doesn’t mean that it has bad products at all times. Nokia is the only company in the world which has developed phones for every consumers in all countries. Not like that Apple which always suck on consumer pockets.
