Aircel has brought relief for its prepaid subscribers in Orissa by introducing first of its kind STD call tariff plans.
Now, Aircel subscribers can make STD calls to any other mobile at 30 p/min.
When major leading telecom service providers are struggling to keep pace with tariff rates across the country due to rising operating cost and declining average revenue per user (ARPU) Aircel has come up with Cheaper STD plans.
Aircel has introduced various STD rate cutters starting with RC 19 using which the subscriber can make STD calls to Eastern Corridor States at just 30p/min.
What’s more with RC 32 Aircel Subscribers can call any Aircel number across India at just 30p/min.
The rate cutters introduced by Aircel aim to provide value-for-money, while enhancing end-user convenience. With these attractive tariff plans, Aircel in Orissa could very well re-define STD calling in East India.

@dskushwaha
Docomo to any tata mobile..not walky..it includes Indicom,Virgin,docomo,T24…I think its a great plan for heavy std users after creating their own onnet circle..

Lack of covesage is why people are not taking MTS. Atleast within 5km distance along NH they should put towers. though their tariff is cheapest
dskushwaha September 14, 2011 at 10:19 pm
1 paisa per 6 sec is applicable only for Docomo to Docomo calls that too just for 500 minutes.
dskushwaha September 14, 2011 at 10:07 pm
Yes! if it is only for customers, it should be mentioned.

Ramesh Darji :
Yes. You are correct. But Videocom does not have coverage at all the places.
S.Sudhakar September 14, 2011 at 12:36 pm
It (the above) is not at all a surprising offer.
Videocon TAMILNADU had launched STV 25 with which one can make unlimited calls within India at Rs.0.25 per min. But now Videocon has imposed FUP on that. In the same way, Aircel will also impose FUP on the STD rate cutter in Orissa.
To telecomtalk :
Please edit the title and mention it as STD gets cheaper for Aircel (Orissa) customers).
Ramesh Darji September 14, 2011 at 12:30 pm
Videocon is still good option for STD. Rs. 65 recharge all calls @ 30 paisa and full talktime
