All spice D-88n mobile inbuilt software shown imei no as 135790246811220, but your phone back cover or box shown valid imei no.
Actually i mobile stops working from Dec 2010 because of the same problem ‘ SIM card registration failed’. I thought some problem with my phone because i have used for last 3years, i have brought another phone. Recently i got a information regarding this issue. Even no authorized service center ready to do it for free of cost.
Spice mobile ltd made a big mistake in supply quality product to consumers. Surly they need to give compensation for all consumers who brought the mobile.

Why there are no outlets where we can get FREE IMEI no implant into Spice mobiles as said by CEO Spice Mobiles??.

They should publish all the outlets where we can get FREE IMEI no through out the country in the interest of the People. They should have this much of Moral responsibilty towards the consumers who are fed up and lose Trust in Spice Mobiles..

Though it is very obvious and BAD marketing practises that Spice will sure come up with some thing for consumer at cheaply to regain its lost Value. These tactices are played by these companies from time to time with customers. But the first and foremost thing is to get IMEI no FREE and where it can be, the List of nearest centers should be made available at the earliest..

SPICE mobiles of 2009 are all having genuine IMEI numbers for sure… And many SPICE mobiles before the 26/11 attack has fake or duplicate IMEIs… I have seen few examples in some forums, where the IMEI number written on battery compartment and IMEI comes by pressing *#06# are not same for few mobiles and those handsets have fake or duplicate IMEIs… SPICE mobiles are just those chinese $hit wrapped in different covers anyway…

Spice is cheating its customers.. openly. It that the CEO has mentioned is baseless. From 1st dec morning GSM sim card registration failed due to invalid IMEI number. For dual SIM gsm&cdma only CDMA is working whereas GSM is deactivated.

I purchased a SPICE dual sim phone from hotspot zone on 3rd October 2009.My model number is M4580(killer).Suddenly from mid November I got sms & phone call(ivrs) frequently from Airtel that my IMEI number is invalid and etc etc..even from!dea CC they informed me that company not yet registered my phone model IMEI with ICA.Then I rushed to hotspot with my cash memo & they assured me that its genuine but company forgot to register some lot of this model with ICA.Then they took a xerox copy of my cash memo & send it to nearest SPICE service center for registration. After 1 week I also checked it by sending sms to a specified number published in various newspaper & its shows me as “success”.Now everything is fine & my set is running without any problem.

My friend gets SMS from Docomo on his spice dual sim ph, while vodafone(d other sim) did not send any kind of such contact regarding this. docomo irritated him for a week, even sms to 53232 was nt delivered ! .. lastly vodafone saved him “sucess this is a valid imei no!” docomo making a hell !!:(

Even heard that recent nokia budget series phones are showing as invalid IMEI… I guess the genuine IMEI databases are not updated yet! So is the case for spice or whatever legit brands…
