does the s4 Indian edition supports 4g or lte networks??

  • Rama March 21, 2014 11:42 am

*Yup nexus device give the best Android experience but they have their own limitations

*Nexus devices are still not good when it comes to cameras

*Design of nexus devices are also not as good as other devices

*Battery is also an issue with nexus devices,Google has publicly acknowledged that there is a bug in nexus devices which causes huge or sudden battery drain.

*See Nexus devices are good for Android enthusiats and the android enthusiats who buy nexus devices tend to overlook the battery, camera and design limitations because of the awesome stock android experience delivered but when a nowmal guy buys a handset stuffs like design, battery and camera do matter.

    @rohan
*Sorry bro and yes you are right there is a 4G variant of M2 but I dont know why has GSM Arena not mentioned it on its website.

*Anyhow I think India will get only the 3G variant because LTE has not yet picked up over here.Just like how Sony launched the xperia SP with 4G in some markets and without 4G in markets like India.I think they are gonna follow the same stratergy with the M2 also.

*The price is rumored to be around 18K but I think Sony can sell the device in good quantities in India only if they price M2 at or below 15k.

HTC 816 & T2 Dual are almost identical except the RAM, Screen size and battery. If Sony has priced it 26K then expect HTC around 28K. At least it should have 16GB of Internal. And both the phone supports LTE so the india version supports it or not ?

    • Rama March 19, 2014 2:48 pm

*I probably guess the T2 Ultra wont come with LTE support and the same might apply to the HTC Desire 618 as well in India. Most manufacturers are not willing to provide LTE ready products for India as long as LTE penetration remians low.

        @Rama
        Bro its htc 816
Also I was thinking to replace my S4 with 5s is it worth the update because I saw iphone 6 pics its looking awesome dont know but when will it launch should I wait for it?

        • Rama March 19, 2014 6:40 pm

*yeah sorry that was a typing error

*If you are ready to put with iphones restrictions and if you are O.K with a mediocre battery then the iphone 5S is definitely one of the best smartphones out there.

*I really cant tell anything about the iphone 6 at this point of time.Apple does the best job in keeping its upcoming device details a secret.Although one thing I can say is that mostly its the design of the iphone Apple is gonna work on with iphone 6 and the specs are more or less gonna remian the same with a mediocre upgrade. But I dont know in what way does Apple plan on changing the design, most people are speculating a large screen iphone but I am not sure if that will happen or not.

*There is no harm in buying the 5S right now.The device is LTE ready for India and will recieve software updates for the next two years.

Hope Sony doesn’t over price M2 DUAL. And hope 4G remains part of it

            • Rama March 20, 2014 3:20 pm

*I checked on GSM Arena and no model of the M2 seems to be supporting 4G. Anyhow the smartphone as such is pretty identical to the moto g and if Sony is able to arrest the price within 15k it would surely be a hit but I really cant tell because Sony generally is not know for pricing its products at a low price.

              • ROHAN SINGH March 20, 2014 5:49 pm

M2 Dual will be launched in 4G and non 4G variant. GsmArena is yet to update on this. See other sites

    Hi;i got a motorola atrix 2 secondhand*few months ago….it has qhd dilplay,8mp camera,dualcore omti cpu,capable all games….till now….what’s ur sugestios guys

  • Rama March 19, 2014 11:44 am

*The device is good but one can wait for the HTC Desire 816 phablet

    *5.5 inch HD screen
*13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera
    *1.5 GB of Ram
    *Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
    *2600 mah battery
*Android 4.4.2 out of the box.

*The device has already got 1 million Pre-orers in China and has a superb design like most HTC devices.

    • singh March 19, 2014 2:02 pm

      Nowadays htc is overpriced.

      • Rama March 19, 2014 2:27 pm

*I know that these days HTCs products are priced high but the desire 816 is a master stroke at the right price thats why did the smartphone get as much as 1 million pre-orders in a country like China where manufacturers like Xiaomi create high quality low priced products.

*According to me if the Desire 816 comes between 25-30k then its worth buying. After all you get the latest version of Android and a world class design.

      • Rama March 19, 2014 2:53 pm

*The HTC Desire 816 is currently available for 310$/18,000Rs in China.Even after taking into consideration taxes, import duties etc I think the price cant go above 30k.If HTC manages to arrest the price of Desire 816 within 25k then it would surely give tough competition to grand2/motox etc.
