SHARP Enters Indian Mobile Handset Market

Japan's Electronics major Sharp Corp. today entered in the Indian Mobile Phone market via its Indian unit Sharp Business Systems (India) Ltd by launching four mobile phones designed with a trendy twist at the price range between Rs 6500 to Rs 25000.

Sharp Corp launched four mobile phones namely Alice, Blink, Tango and Cyborg. The Alice which is a touch phone is priced at Rs 8500, Blink will cost Rs 6500,the Cyborg at Rs 17000 while the Tango (2G) will be available at Rs 18000 in Indian market.




The company announced that it is planning to bring the 3G version of the Tango phone in next couple of months which is expected to be available at Rs 25000.

These handsets power packed with multimedia features as well as Bluetooth, G Sensor, LCD Screens,Shortcut to Social Networking services, LED illumination, FM radio, dual SIM facility and 3 to 5 mega pixel camera. Some of handsets are also encased in appealing form factors including the standard clamshell or the cycloid with a screen that can be rotated to a full 180 degrees. Moreover, some models also provide an enhanced touch experience to its users.
