You can check availability of Reliance tower from rcom.co.in. STel is using Rel Infra.
shiba prasad sahoo, (Jagatsinghpur) January 14, 2010 at 5:03 pm
I purchase 2 nos. of S Tel SMI , Retailer told me they have taken best located towers from different operators. Also, rate plan is very good, but no tower at Jagatsinghpur Basically (Tirtil, Sarala Temple, Katara, Dhiasahi etc.) Please trace on your tower at above noted location/area.

u all i think have less mind. jst look up..its saying dat s tel is jst using d tower of reliance not the network . nd u fools rel iz mch beeter than a”tel nd all.. by its leass call charge nd sms plans.. relaince iz best nd m also usin relince cz be4 i was using a”tel.. conjution of call is more time in airtel than relianc.. so its time for reliance now…..

@Devesh Seth
Reliance Infratel is a passive infrastructore provider in India. STel is using passive infrastructure of them.
Agnivo December 28, 2009 at 12:26 pm
@Shiva
They are using reliance towers, not network… STel’s own BTS equipment is used, not reliance’s.
Devesh Seth December 28, 2009 at 11:33 am
@gaurav jha
Exactly that’s what i was saying!!!!Every time u l call from Smart (reliance Gsm) “ALL channels in this route are busy ..please dial after some time”…
Shiva December 27, 2009 at 9:27 pm
@gaurav jha
Are bhai RGSMka apna network bekar hai,how can they give good service????????????????????
gaurav jha December 26, 2009 at 11:39 am
got 1 sim of s tel, good network, customer service, plans, they r using reliance infra, so not worry for network issue, they have launched ad campaigns like “apna bihar, apna network” good luck s tel, go ahead.
Devesh Seth December 26, 2009 at 7:40 am
@Vineet
Yes i do agree Reliance Cdma is gud for many reasons and when it comes to MTS it may b gud in urban areas bt nt in rural,yes their launch has been around 6 odd months so it is quite acceptable of entering rural areas in a quick span of time.All i can say its a waiting game for MTS!!!!
Debopratim Roy December 25, 2009 at 11:33 pm

When S Tel will launch mobile services in Bombay, any idea?
Prasath J December 25, 2009 at 9:11 pm
I think, many operators are concentrating on Orissa and Bihar because of low tele-density…
Sanju December 25, 2009 at 8:09 pm
@Devesh Seth
Pls try S-Tel service will come to know abt the same good netwrok and no congesation.
Devesh Seth December 25, 2009 at 7:14 pm
So Many Operators in Bihar Circle and still it has been awarded with d most congested circle as Per Trai,DoT etc!!!!
Loop Holes Of operators in Bihar….
1.Airtel…Subscriber About 1Cr ..Towers nt at all upto d mark to even handle 50 Lakhs….so hell lot of cross connection.
2.Reliance Gsm (Smart)…Comletiing around 14 years of launch bt still just over 30 lakh subscribers while Idea n Voda have managed to get 20lac in their frst year of launch
3.Aircel No network even on roads …ex(maurya Lok)Patna ppl must b aware of this place
4.BSNL only one Word SARKARI….
5.Idea and Vodafone…Weak Signal strengh even after 1 and a half year after launch
6.Uninor..29p and 2.00rs plan ppl will nt opt fr it
7.Stel..Khud ka toh thikana nae udhari se kaam chala raha hai thanks to Reliance
8.Reliance CDMA ..No comments
9.Tata Indicom..HAndsets Are nt at all worth
10.MTS..Still establishing its network..
(Its my personal OPINION)

in mumbai.delhi bsnl wil be replacd by mtnl, and punjab will also have 16 brands, with ping , no stel there!
ved bias December 25, 2009 at 2:22 pm

Rajib December 25, 2009 at 1:58 pm
i am not happy with da companies launching recently. they dont have proper infrastructure. they are fooling customers. in this business only money matters. all r coming wit their black moneys to earn some white money. down to all uninor, s-tel, and their big brother Reliance smart. call lagtai nehi yaar!!!!
aditya December 25, 2009 at 12:34 pm
