Hi, Pramod, Please note that the Rs.98 3G pack gives 1GB of 3G data with 2 days validity, the extra 3GB is 2G or GPRS data not 3G. this is done by reliance becoz its an unlimitted voucher, so once u exhaust your 3G data balance u can still use data at 2G speeds for another 3 GB. so in 98 u get total 4 GB data for 2 days 1GB 3G + 3GB 2G

Reliance sab ka baap he…i love reliance….
Fahad August 28, 2012 at 4:36 pm
@PRAMOD KUMAR
I have been doing this from last 8 months the only change was validity at first the validity was just one day now its two … don’t know about other circles but in Delhi it works fine……
And even you can get a new reliance Sim and after frc recharge with this pack once and you will get 3GB data for 30 days as the new sims have 1 month validity for 3g by default….
Try it

I have joined in RGSM bcoz for the offer which they provide with FRC and want to make a try with reliance !
Local R-R 5P/min
Local R-O 30P/min
Monthly 500mb gprs (2g)
and Fulltalktime for all top ups above 10rs !
All the above plan valid for 6 months @ rs. 50 ..!
Aircel is good in chennai but their tariffs and ratecutters are very high like airtel ! Even for local call 30 ps/min plan costs rs.64 with 30 days validity !

@Ranajit
better u complain in the website which i have been telling to other TT friends. u will get a reply hopefully.
Raghu August 26, 2012 at 11:50 pm
@novicefreak1
These customer care executives will never ever help to solve the issue only pgportal.gov.in is the best for giving complaints and getting our response.
Raghu August 26, 2012 at 11:49 pm
@Pike
the problem is with All Private Operators the CC is just waste. What u have to do is complain in pgportal.gov.in and then u will definitely get ur balance back. i do not know why u have opted for RGSM it is the worst compared to RCDMA. I heard Aircel is good in TN.

@novicefreak1
I feel that if a service provider gives a customer the option to activate a service by SMS or USSD String, then they should also provide the option to deactivate the Service by SMS or USSD string. TRAI should look into this matter.

Reliance is totally waste ! I have recently ported in to reliance gsm from uninor ! Within 2 days my balance was deducted rs.30 for vas service activation without my knowledge ! When i call 198 , the cc told call 198 for complaints (this is the big funny thing) ! Then they telling tat i’m new customer and proof not updated so it is difficult to find out the info of active service and i dono whether they refund or not ! I dono how our balance get updated and deducted by vas packs before our proof gets updated ? Within two days of port in , i fed up with this network and asking u all fellow guys don’t join to reliance network (in my opinion) !
Reliance is unRELIABLE !

Reliance 3G is best in Mumbai
Amit Deb Biswas August 26, 2012 at 12:15 pm
ah… shit.. i get 2gb 3G data just for rs80…. vodafone rocks….
jay August 26, 2012 at 11:49 am
There should be some innovative plan like Rs 100 for 300mb,30days validity. or Rs 150 for 500 mb 3g & 500 mb 2g data with 30 day validity.
novicefreak1 August 26, 2012 at 11:21 am
Exactly, this is the reason I stopped using Reliance services way back. Complain or watever, there is no one to resolve this issue.
A Mohapatra August 26, 2012 at 9:28 am
Indeed R3G is Best in Speed. Upto 1.5 Mbps for upload and around 5-5.5 Mbps for Download in Bhubaneswar while Aircel giving 1.5 for UL, 3.5 for DL and BSNL 3G giving .3 for UL, around 1.5 for DL.
Anyways, good perk for promoting online recharges.
Joy marandi August 26, 2012 at 2:43 am
Reliance ka bhi speed nahi hai kabhi 6 ya 9kb/s or ruk ruk chalta hai jaise bael gadi ho.
Manish Adhikari August 25, 2012 at 10:24 pm
Good move by Reliance….
Nice speed in Delhi/NCR region…
Arif August 25, 2012 at 9:53 pm

Nikhil,
I am getting 15 to 16 KB/s (120 to 128 Kbps) in Tamilnadu. Note that 1 KB/s = 8 Kbps.
I am getting upto 25 KB/s (200 Kbps) in BSNL 2G GPRS in Tamilnadu.
sampat August 25, 2012 at 8:52 pm
waiting for mukesh ambani for 4g ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Nikhil August 25, 2012 at 8:47 pm
2G speed getting only 10kbps. Takes 1 min to open google page completely.
h rajpoot August 25, 2012 at 7:46 pm
worst operator in terms of transperancy……
Ranajit August 25, 2012 at 7:07 pm
In Reliance GSM 3G, how does one deactivate their 30 days, Autorenewal Data Packs for 3G broadband in mobile? One can activate the service by sendind SMS or USSD string as given in the Reliance website, but no options are provided to deactivate the service when one does not need it.

Don’t go for the dacoit…Better go for other thieves in the arena…If possible go for AIRCEL…It is not a sadhu either but not a dacoit either like unreliable RELIANCE…
ved August 25, 2012 at 7:02 pm
not getting speed more that .07 Mbps at nyt and during day only 1Mbps in full network…so say no to reliance
som August 25, 2012 at 5:21 pm
just like the 1st writer, my experience with reliance was not good either. my experience showed me that its better to avoid ‘on paper’ good offer from reliance in favour of seemingly costly offer from other operators. other operators will be less costly in the long run.
Rajive Borde August 25, 2012 at 5:04 pm
Wow great news, Thanks to SANJAY BAFNA for this good news. Reliance 3G is best from all in terms of speed.
RIVU August 25, 2012 at 4:55 pm
I dont trust RELIANCE. They might wrongfully deduct the 10% extra at their whims and wishes and then to deal with there 198 customer care is a horrible experience…..I have faced lot of harrasment at the hand of their customer care agents.
