One can’t download n install the client in Windows Mobile which is a shame. Can’t use the mobile tv service in windows mobile which is simply ridiculous.

I liked the service. Watched the match yesterday. Loss of clarity in between but nevertheless okay. Sent the SMS to 55447 from by Nokia X6, received two links in reply. Clicked on the first link and chose rcomwap apn. Application downloaded pretty soon and started in less that a minute. In later attempts its opening less that 10 secs. Called up customer care to check if its really free. They said subscriptions are free till Jan 31st. Download of MTV client, streaming of channels and SMS to 55447 are always free

Reliance will not count the data uses for watching mobile TV, that is very good move. Either data or rental should be charged. Both should not be charged.

Keshavji- Read between the lines! (string attached) -
The start date of the offer is 8th Janurary 2011 and the end date is 31st Janurary 2011.

Don’t worry. They will recover cost of their all free services by activating VAS.

TRUE! BEWARE of Rcom! Rcom will stealthily and falsely activate other VAS and earn fraudulently through this method. This free offer is just a bait to lure the customers in their cheating jaal/web. Never trust them. They are notorious for false VAS activations. Just google it to find out the truth

Well said -Sab Eek hi kheth ka muli hai and therefore follow the same path and intensionally activate VAS and deactivate (and if hang on -refunds) if made an issue with their CC. Ignorant/illiterate get the beating ! Moral- Think before you leap !

I am from kolkata. Here I am getting 3G signal with full strength. But whenever I am connecting to internet I am not getting the 3g speed, the speed is same as 2G. But in BSNL I am getting 3G speed whenever I am getting 3G signal. I think to get 3G speed we have to recharge with 3G special internet vouchers.

According to the Reliance 3G website, none of the Mobile TV tariff plans have an auto renewal. Anyway don’t need to subscribe for the free trial.

Reliance mobile TV has much better quality than MTNL and no buffering! Seems they have done a pretty good job on the network coverage as well…I haven’t had any call drops so far (around Andheri, moving to town). Good job Reliance!!!

Remember – Nothing can be given free to all the time, all the people and if this is not true, the giver will become pauper and/or bankrupt and in exit mode in due course of time. Somebody has to pay/invest and in such case surely expects ‘returns’ in one way or other. Well for a change anything is better ! Make hey when sun shines !
