Telecom in India is highly competitive market and operators struggling hard to lure people by lowering entry point for data service .
By introducing low cost smartphones or by cuting down prices of data cards after all data gives more revenue than voice.
Recently MTS India cuts down their EVDO MBlaze dongle price to Rs 999.Now Reliance Commnucations also takes the step and offers 3G-HSPA dongles at a lower cost. RCom offers 3G-HSPA dongles manufactured by ZTE and Huawei.
