Reliance has finally reduced the tariff on its 3 G Data Plan Now one gets 5GB @ 800..10 GB@1002 and 15 GB @ 1300 IN PREPAID…along with this as first recharge coupon one gets 3GB for 102…Now I reckon Tata Photon Plus has some serious competition as the said plans are better than one offered by photon plus…I am convinced about the speed of Reliance 3 G ..it offers generally at least 1-1.5 Mbps whereas photon plus offers .2-.4 Mbps consistenly..only thing now left is reliability of services..where photon plus is excellent..only if Reliance can assure of uninterrupted services like photon plus I reckon game is over for photon plus as reliance would offer at least twive the speed at lesser rates…hope photon plus also reduce the tariff…Price wrs have begun in this New Year..

IDEA OFFERS SAME DEVICE FOR HALF THE PRICE………..WHAT AN IDEA SIR JI….

Where you got the info. that Idea offering same device at half the price.
For 21.6Mbps device Idea is charging Rs.3599 and for 7.2Mbps device it is Rs.1499 or Rs.1450 in some circles.

Are the devices unlocked like the one offered by Reliance or not.

When Rcom can give 3G for 2GB/Rs.98 for 1 day, then why not extend it for 30 days. This will create history! Just reducing data card price is not enough! Its like you buy a middle class man a car, but he that man doe not have the money to run the car (petrol) on a regular basis.
    Great yaar

Recharge with Rs. 98 first, you will get 2GB of data and then on same day recharge with Rs. 97 which gives 100MB for 1 month. Doing this will give you 2.1GB of 3G data for Rs. 195. Activating 97 after 98 won’t de-activate 98 pack and data will remain as per Reliance policies which says, “Data will be added if you recharge twice with internet packs and the validity of longer period will apply.”

reliance seems worst provider in 2g. hardly getting 4-5kBps. read in TT comments earlier that reliance 2g network has improved a lot, but its the same old story. mail attachments are never downloaded completely. seems living in historical era. BSNL still is the best in this segment because it allows to use HSDPA network to 2g customers, though speeds are restricted. Any one having idea, whether any other operator allows to use 3g network for 2g customers?

The price of unlocked Huawei E182E modem in ebay (with 6 months warranty) is itself Rs.2649 approx.

    on ebay

So do not buy from reliance. It is very costly.
