Reliance Communications today announced the launch of Reliance 3G Services in Jharkhand.
In the first phase, the services will be available in 6 towns of Jharkhand including Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, & Jharia.
With this roll out, Reliance Communications becomes the first private operator to launch 3G services in Jharkhand.
Recently, Reliance Communications had launched 3G services in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chandigarh. Demonstrating its all round execution and innovation capabilities, Reliance Communications has rolled out 3G services in a record time of around 100 days of receiving 3G Spectrum in the major Metros of India.
Reliance 3G network has been designed to offer blanket coverage in every town being connected on 3G, with all its 3G sites connected through IP backhaul to provide maximum download speeds and minimum latency.The World class Reliance 3G network is capable of offering peak speeds up to 28 Mbps. The 3G network significantly enriches our Internet Access Services offering, enabling us to further strengthen our undisputed leadership in the wireless data space.
Reliance Communication has also partnered with the World’s best organizations, including Nokia for devices, Facebook, Nokia and Ericsson for applications, Universal Music for content and Motricity for the Web portal .
Earlier in May 2010, Reliance Communications emerged as the winner in 13 key telecom circles during the 3G auction including the key metros of Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Reliance Communications holds 3G licenses in the telecom circles of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, North East, Jammu & Kashmir, Orissa and Assam.

reliance is very serious about 3g.. they wish to continue their leadership in mobile broadband sector. tata docomo is expanding their 3g service at snail pace. they didnt even covered calicut city of kerala…

I always said, Relaince 3G is best of all except price. Reliance 3G network is world class, My expereince with 3G is good with bsnl , but Reliance 3G is very high speed network considering bsnl , So when price war start in 3G , reliance will clear winner. and BSNL clear looser, but takes time , I think in late 2012

idea vodafone not launched 3G service in any city (Officialy)

always got reply from voda, idea …..we will launching soon..
i think they have 5year time for it..so they will complete in 5 year’s.
