TT readers from Mumbai,Delhi and Kolkata have started spotting Reliance 3G signal. Reliance Communications (Rcom) has bagged 3G spectrum in 13 circles including Delhi ,Mumbai and in category ’C’ circle.
We’d like you to let us know if you have also come across Reliance 3G signal in your area. Just follow the simple steps to find out if there is 3G services awaiting for you.
Get a 3G handset and go to phone settings > set Network Mode to WCDMA/UMTS > then search for Networks Manually > It is expected that u will have Cellone/Dolphin (thats BSNL/MTNL) and Reliance 3G if available.
You can also email us screenshots with your area name and we’d be happy to post them in this post.In Delhi Reliance 3G signal was spotted by Gaurav in Safdarjung Enclave.

Reliance has brought in a great new technology….i used reliance GPRS today and found that i was able to talk on the phone and use net on my pc simultaneously….don’t know how this is happening…but its for real.
in AIRTEL…while using GPRS,if a call comes in, the net used to go into hold but this doesn’t happen with reliance..:)

Ghatkopar west Nityanand Nagar. When RGSM going to lunch 3G services countrywide/n Mumbai? Other operators like Airtel, Vodafone’s 3G network signals are not found. May be Reliance GSM going to be 1st 3G operator(in pvt sector)in Mumbai circle.

We spotted Reliance 3G signal @ Ghatkopar W & near Vikhroli near R City mall, Jagdusha Nagar area but i dont know how to take snapshot from Nokia N78 pls anyone from TT let me know. Awaiting for your help.

For the last two days AIRTEL normal EDGE connection is disappearing every now and then even during ay times GOD knows what they are trying to do. Earlier I have nevwr seen their EDGE network flactuating so much as I have been using AIRTEL for the last 6 years with gprs connection, that is the reason I am unable to move to BSNL 3G only to retain my number which means a lot to me.

Please don’t post false information there is no 3G Signal in kolkata of any operators except BSNL have been trying for the last three to four days even and after 12 Pm. If you all have witnessed any please do post the screen shot if possible.

I did’t get 3G signal here in Navi Mumbai (because my mobile is 2G), but my friend did got 3G signal and I see good internet speed in my 2G phone…. About 240kbps… which was around 120 kbps earlier…
