Rcom Launches Reliance Netconnect+ My Best Plan To Shield from Bill Shock

In an endeavor to provide affordable EVDO Mobile Broadband Services, Reliance Communications (RCom) launches MY BEST PLAN for its postpaid Netconnect+ subscribers.

Reliance Netconnect+ My Best Plan comes as a ‘One Plan… Many Solutions’. The new plans are very similar to Bharti Airtel’s 3G Flexi Shield plan wherein customers manage their high speed data usage and prevent ”bill shock’

EVDO technology based Reliance Netconnect+ wireless broadband service is available throughout the country over its CDMA network in 900 cities/towns, offers connectivity up to 3.1 Mbps downlink & uplink speeds up to 1.8 Mbps. Netconnect+ modem is now priced at Rs.1399.

With the New Reliance Netconnect + My Best Plan :

1. You only pay for the data you have used. The plan automatically adapts to your usage pattern & charges the lowest bill amount for the data you have used.

2. You pay as less as 6p/MB overage (on usage above 1000 MB).

3. Fixed rental as low as Rs 350 with 500 MB usage bundled.

4. Max bill capped at Rs 950+ tax. No shocks when you receive your bills.

5. 6000 MB data usage will be at speed upto 3.1Mbps, after that speed will be capped to 153Kbps (as per 1X network).

    mts have 2 best plan first recharge 141 gives 300 min std at 1p 2sec and and all local at 1p/2sec also 191 which give 400 min std at 1p/2sec and all local 1p/2sec life time condition is u have to use rs 900 in every 6 month.

    I DUMPED RCOM LONG TIME BACK USING MNP AND AM LIVING A PEACEFUL LIFE. EARLIER GOT HARRASED WITH FALSE VAS ACTIVATIONS AND POOR INDOOR NETWORK COVERAGE. INSPITE OF COMPLAINING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR, RCOM DID NOT IMPROVE NETWORK COVERAGE IN MY AREA. SO ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS IN MY AREA, WE DUMPED RCOM ROYALLY AND SHIFTED TO VODAFONE AND IDEA. He has destroyed wealth (no his black money) of Indian people (investors) and looted money of Indian consumers (false billing, false VAS activation). But people like Anil Ambani, A Raja, Suresh Kalmadi etc are made of thickest skin in the world and it would not make them an iota of difference. Only GOD can do something to them. And I think even GOD is helpless against these fraudsters! Its our bad luck that such M***** f**** people are born in India!

      I fully endorse the views of my friends who have used and got an experience of Reliance Broadband Services. In May 2012, I purchased a reliance netconnect wireless broadband modem by paying @Rs.1299/- and a monthly rental of Rs.750/- (with a billing amount of Rs.842/- per month including taxes) for availing 5GB data at a speed of 3.1 Mbs and thereafter at quite a miserable speed. As I have an MTNL unlimited broadband connection at home and an unlimited Airtel broadband office (am quite satisfied using their services), the purpose of buying the reliance dongle was to use it during my travels outside Delhi, else it was of little use. Some months I hardly used it, but had to pay the full bill amount and it seemed quite painful and foolish at times as to why I am using it.
      I came to know this month (July’14) that reliance has launched a new rental scheme of Rs.599 per month (with no different than the earlier Rs.750 per month plan) but old faithful customers were kept in the dark and were kept on being billed at the same old rates. The also charge an exhorbitant amount of Rs. 100/- per unpaid bill which is quite high as compared to the services provided by MTNL.
      I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with reliance and have now decided to discontinue it. and have ordered for discontinuation of my services, on which reliance is dilly-dallying and have not confirmed.
      I have sent an email communication to reliance customer care for the same and marked a copy to all those ids which I could find on this site.
      Kindly advise any further course of action (required if any) on my part to be on the safer side.

    Hi Sayan, where are you from ? Actually I want to switch to BSNL. So can you tell me how much speed you get from BSNL gprs/edge. Is their speed is capped at 128kbps for edge network? I am from kolkata.

    friends one thing shud not had to happened but now the time had gone , govt. had charged a very amount from operator for 3g licence thats why 3g operator is charging the heavy rate to us also may be this licence fee charged by govt because might be for scams like 2g wait time will show u. in india like developing country this was very disaster as this technolgy will going to changed the people of india in terms of swithing to internet and getting the more and more advanced, lots of people are still stick to gprs due to this heavy 3g rates. and believe me slow internet cant bring u in world compitition.bad luck india…..

    Govt.? I don’t think so, Because Operators were ready to pay more.
    Operators? Because they thought that Indian customer will pay high for less.
    Customers? Because they are not ready to pay such a high amount for too less.

    If the operators would not have been ready to purchase spectrum at such a high amount (as you say), the 3G rates would not have been low. Customers are not fool like operators, so they are away from 3G.

    Here is the email I sent to RCOM:

    On 23 Dec 2011, I recharged my mobile 808127xxxx using http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/home/index.html which redirected me to http://myservices.relianceada.com/captureInstantRecharge.do. I looked the available recharge options and chose the Rs. 55 recharge as it was showing Regular talktime of Rs. 55.

    But on successful recharge I found that talktime of only 47 got credited instead of what website was showing talktime of Rs 55.

    I e-mailed customercare@relianceada.com 23 Dec 11 and 28 Dec 11 but both the times I got reply : “Kindly note that as per our records we found that the Rs 55 offer is not available for GSM number. Hence, this offer is available only for CDMA number. Hence, your amount has been posted correctly for your number.” or alike.

    Then I e-mailed rcomnodalofficer.UPE@relianceada.com and sent a copy to RCOMAppellateAuthority.UPE@relianceada.com on 29 Dec 2011 with Reliance customer care’s mail attached. I told them step by step procedure I used while recharging by mobile using RCOM website and asked them website is showing some offer on entering my mobile number, how can I know that this offer is not for my number, as RCOM recharge terms and conditions are different than what are shown on the website. But the reply from rcomnodalofficer.UPE@relianceada.com was similar to what customer care had replied.

    On 04 Jan 2011, I again sent all the mails and replies to RCOMAppellateAuthority.UPE@relianceada.com asking them to verify from their own website what I am telling. But again the reply was similar to what I received from other lower agencies.

    In all the mails I sent the screenshots of the RCOM webpage showing talktime of 55 on recharge of Rs. 55. But none of you bothered to verify my claim and replied in a similar way. I tried to talk RCOM Appellate Authority on 05223031758 today but he was not available at that time. His staff took my contact no. and told that I will be contacted when he will come back.

    Then I talked to Nodal Officer Ms. Vineeta on 18602002011 on the same day. She told to hold line for a minute and verified my claim about the website. She asked me to give Transaction ID for the recharge. I told her that I didn’t have the Transaction ID as I didn’t note it down when it was shown on the webpage while recharge neither I received any SMS regarding the recharge. The she told me that without Transaction ID she will not be able to lodge my complaint. I repeated her that they may have my recharge record on 23 Dec 2011 and still the website is showing the same thing what I am telling. But again she expressed her helplessness.

    Since the amount is not big (just a difference of Rs. 8), I recharged again with the same amount using RCOM’s website. This time I saved screenshot of each page and the receipt. I again called the Nodal Officer Ms. Vineeta immediately and told her that I recharged again the same amount and this time also I received less what website is showing. And told her that the receipt is not showing any Transaction ID and instead of that Transaction Reference number is there. Now she lodged my complaint (Service Request number 16950661).

    Now again I am sending you the same screenshots what I send you before and others screen shots which I took today with the receipt. Please tell me, Why I have to spend so many hours on typing you emails which you never read and replied with the ready-made statements by all-The Customer Care, The Nodal Officer and The Appellate Authority. And spend so many Rs on talking to you on phone, that too just for Rs. 8 only, still complaint cannot be lodged because I don’t have so called transaction ID (However later I got it for my recharge of 23 Dec 2011 in my email Inbox. But Nodal Officer could have guided me that It may be there if I input my email ID while recharge and is 14374097).

    And your website gives no other further option to complaint if I am unsatisfied with the Appellate Authority’s reply as your website give TRAI’s email ID as http://www.pgportal.gov.in which is a url and not an email ID.

    I am not bothered if you will give me the balance amount of Rs. 16 (8+8), but as a customer of Reliance mobile I am fed up with your customer care which never cares for the customer. Before this I have two incidents of activation of Cricket Pack without my request on the same mobile number and on my other RGSM mobile of Assam Circle (986418xxxx) during those days when Intra Circle roaming for Assam Cricle was barred by govt. and my mobile was not in Assam at the time of service activation. Those times also the customer care gave the ready made replies. If required I can send you the email replies of the same.
