MTS India the CDMA mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL) today announced that It has crossed the milestone of 5 million CDMA subscribers in just 361 days.

To Celebrate the milestone achievement of 5 million subscriber, MTS has offered “Unlimited MBlaze” to the new and existing customers of its mobile broadband service, MBlaze. It also announced 25% discounts on its Win-Win packs for its customers in all the circles except Andhra Pradesh .

IDEA Cellular, the pan-India GSM mobile service operator has introduced a breakthrough initiative in the prepaid category of mobile services. Titled ‘Reserve Talktime’, the new initiative will enable 6.5 million Idea subscribers in Andhra Pradesh telecom circle to keep a ‘Balance in Reserve’ on their prepaid account.

The new concept in mobility, launched for the first time in India in AP circle, will allow prepaid subscribers to create a Reserve account of Talktime, and use it later when they need it. It offers complete convenience to consumers to get talktime when they need it the most. For Eg. When a user has run out of balance and cannot reach a retailer immediately, but is in urgent need to make a phone call, he/ she can activate the ‘Reserve Talktime’ account and use the balance in reserve. Vodafone, one of India’s leading GSM Mobile service providers, today announced four new Full Talk-Time Recharge value plans for its prepaid customers in Orissa.

Vodafone users can now choose from a range of recharge packs priced at Rs 17, Rs 50 and Rs 111 and Rs 222 to enjoy full talk time recharge.
